Hidden gem

This little cottage is a hidden gem, so cozy, felt like a home from home. The location was perfect, quiet and has stunning views. The property is on its own, however is only a few minutes drive from a little village with shops, pubs and restraunts. The host were really attentive and friendly.

Family Get Away

We had a fabulous 5 nights break away. Beautiful calming views had long walk into town and sightseeing days. Suzanne, our host, was brilliant. The cottage had everything we needed. She even had a welcome hamper set up, too. I would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone worth staying longer than just a couple of days. Everything is easily accessible. Thank you, Suzanne, for making our stay enjoyable. 😊

Just a couple of things to add a small lamp shade left on the table by the sofa bed and a few extra cutlery. It was a shame that the gas burner wouldn't work because of the windy weather. Apart from that, it was a perfect cute little cottage we loved it. 😊

Perfect stay in Yorkshire dales!

The hosts are very kind and nice! The property is perfectly located in nature and close to the village. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable. There are some interesting activities to do, which Suzanne offers, unfortunately we had little time to try these.

It is a beautiful cottage, so stylish and tastefully presented, immaculate throughout - ideal for mobility issues and very friendly owners to help if you need it. Nice surprise with the generous welcome pack. Nice and quiet too!

An outstanding stay 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Overall I really enjoyed my stay. Me , my sister and daugther stayed here the night before my Wedding Leyburn, I felt so relaxed being here. Sue came round yo welcome us when we arrived and offered if we needed help with anything and even offered help for the next day if we needed any extra transport to the hall. Sue the host was very friendly and professional. Loved the hamper and the wedding card so thoughtful. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. I will be back with my family 😀 thank you so much.

A charming property in a peaceful location with good amenities locally.

We loved everything about The Byre. Lovely sunset views over the fields. Exceptionally clean throughout. The layout of the property is well thought out and worked perfectly for us as a couple with a young baby. Loved the added extras of bread, milk, butter and some other treats in the kitchen. Nice and peaceful location but still within 5 mins drive of the town or a walkable if you cut across the field. We would definitely recommend The Byre and hope to stay again one day.

Exceptional

The holiday was booked for my mum and dad for my dad's special 80th birthday. My parents said Suzamne the host was lovely she left them lots of treats and a birthday card for my dad. He was very touched. The accommodation was spotless, modern and very well equipped. The setting and location were beautiful overlooking fields. Definitely recommend.
