No availability of late check out even for a fee was unfortunate.
All the cabinetry in the room was quite roughed up looking, giving the feeling of a low end motel.

A tall thin russian speaking door man, stopped me as I came back into the hotel after the hockey game
I walked through the doors and was going straight to the elevators he rudely demanded to know if I "lived in the building" I nicely stated I was staying at the hotel this was the last of my three nights. He demanded to see my room key etc.. I have stayed here often, maybe 12 nights in all, and have never ever encountered anyone on their staff like this. Reception did nothing either?

The modern styling and amenities are excellent. The nespresso machine is an added bonus and the hot tub is a great option, too. The staff is courteous, attentive, and on point. We arrived for my wife's birthday to find a box of craft chocolates and a hand written note!

We ve been coming to Le Crystal whenever we visit Montreal. It is centrally located ,within walking distance to St Catherine s St, shopping district as well as a short walk to Old Montreal. I must say, the major construction on St Catherine St and surrounding streets was kind of a bummer in regards to walking around and shopping etc.. The service/ front desk have always been great and the rooms are very spacious and clean. They are undergoing some minor renovations but was not really an issue ie no loud hammering and such .
