Booked one night on our way back home before flying out of YUL. This B&B is across the street from a metro station and not far from the hockey arena. Lots of walkable stores/restaurants a few blocks away. Although the exterior may look older, the insides of the rooms were well decorated and well laid out. Bed was big and pillows were comfy for tired travelers leaving the next day.

Booked this hotel based on its location and excellent reviews. Few things are not as good in our experience. It requires carrying luggage upstairs which is not easy for large suitcases. Front desk guy was nice to help but can’t expect it since front desk has short hours and not all staff may do it. Saw hairs on bed cover and dirty carpet on stairs but other areas are clean. Room floor is slanted. Sound insulation is poor. Metro across the street is convenient for getting around the city. The $16 each breakfast is good. The bed is comfortable but no headboard. The hot water in the shower is good. Coffee tea and water at the hallway station is nice. Room decor is unique and has a very large TV.

It should be explained more clearly that the breakfast is not included and parking at the rear of the hotel is also not included in the price of the room.

Right next to the metro, lovely location but there are many gotchas - main one being the maintenance issues. Bathroom sink was blocked for our whole 7 day stay and light switch is worryingly broken. Windows broken too. Also be wary there are no lifts so not very accessible up two levels of narrow stairs. Still comfortable and would recommend, hope they put a bit more effort into upkeep though.
