    Location is absolutely fantastic - less than 3 minutes' walk away from Guy-Concordia metro, and from there you can get anywhere on Montreal island. Rooms are a bit on the small side but tidy and clean. The included breakfast is a bit basic but will do the job. Personally I was happy with my room, even though the hotel is located near a busy intersection, I hardly heard any noise. Hotel staff were also all very friendly and welcoming. Great place to stay without having to pay those downtown Montreal hotel prices.

    We stayed 2 nights in a double Queen room. The hotel is beautiful and staff are great. Comfortable beds and our room was quite large with lots of space for the 4 of us and our luggage. Breakfast was great. The stairs are challenging if you have issues with stairs. They even helped us up to the third floor with our suitcases. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

    Location is quite a way out, though close to MontRoyal. There is a bus stop right outside however, and Guy Concordia Metro station is a couple of minutes walk which made it very easy to get back at night! Be aware there are steps to get up to the hotel and steep steps inside with no lifts. Breakfast was surprisingly good though can get busy and table spaces run out. Staff were quick to replenish everything though one morning there was no butter. Main issue I had was the room. It was big enough but on street level (down from reception) and so dark and dingy as all the windows were overgrown. Ok at night with the curtains shut. There were big issues with drains, toilet wouldn't flush properly. Made big gurgling noises, the bath didn't drain and one morning the toilet waste appeared in the bath after a particularly big gurgling noise. Reported it but it wasn't fixed. Had to use the loo only before the shower as loo wouldn't clear after that until I came back in the evening. Ended up using hotel public toilet. Maybe if you have a different room the hotel may seem a lot better.
