Stunning stay and wonderful memories at The Coach House

The property was beautifully furnished and had most of what we needed. The beds were very large and comfortable. The location was beautiful and not too far from the town centre.

The initial entry point was not well identified and we struggled to find the back entrance. We also couldn’t find a dustpan and brush to sweep up after ourselves. Other than this, we really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend Quirky Retreats to anyone.

Nice place but could be improved. Hot tub was not checked before our arrival.

Clean, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms

Missing some of the basics. No kitchen roll or coffee pods for the machine. Damaged hot tub, no bin bags or anything to wash up with.

Accomodation was not as advertised / booked

When we booked the property it was listed as a 5 bedroom property. That is what we booked and is as per our booking confirmation. At some point between booking and arrival they altered the accomodation/ didn’t release the 5th bedroom to us and so this was unsuitable for our requirements.

Location perfect but lack of light in kitchen area a major drawback

Location. Good sound system throughout the property. Good space in bedrooms, kitchen & living room.Garden & hot tub were nice

Poor lighting in kitchen cooking area. Lots of dust on light fittings & behind beds. No chopping boards or drainer in kitchen area. Lack of drawers in bedrooms. Couldn’t fully unpack suitcase. Sofas not comfy & a bit grubby. Only 2 outdoor chairs on deck which was small & in need of refurb

Amazing

The whole place was amazing, when we arrived we were like children in a sweetie shop! The rooms were all a good size, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom's were modern and clean, with complimentary products that smelled fantastic. We lit the hot tub as soon as we arrived, 4 bags of logs and 5 hrs later it was ready to go, beautiful setting in the garden. We have all agreed that when we come back to Windermere we will see if the accommodation is available and stay for longer.

Really enjoyed how open plan the coach house is, really well decorated and very modern with the built in speakers on rooms and TV’s all logged in on Netflix and such! Kitchen was well equipped and although the wood fire hot tub was out of action we had been able to use the downstairs properties 8 person hot tub which was amazing.

Only criticism I could think of would be maybe some more lighting in the downstairs hot tub area and the kitchen maybe as well due to the time of year felt abit dark in there at times. But other than that the place is fantastic and it would not stop me staying here nor did it ruin our time at all!

Lovely stay.

Gorgeous house. Loved the location and style. Nice touch with the beers and milk provided.

Wi-Fi code not in book. Code to cupboard should also maybe be in book to save getting in touch with the management team, (for extra towels and bedding etc) although they were very good when we needed anything. No complaints. We loved it!

Loved the decor thought-out the house, loads of space too! And of a night the the way the garden lights up is magical, the kids loved it! The location of the house is perfect as your right next to everything too.

Awful experience ever

Nothing after we traveled to go there they never let us in

They left us outside without answering the phone We could see from the window the house was dirty inside There was rubbish outside and in the back garden There was no hot tube
