Lovely place for a break up North Wales

Spacious house with lots of living room seating, which was great as there were 5 of us. Fairly well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Property was very clean although some parts like the showers/baths could do with some TLC, as I imagine the property is quite old. But overall great place for a break in North Wales, and a close drive from a good selection of pubs/restaurants. The hosts also left a helpful book outlining the local businesses.

Fantastic place to stay. We would stay again.

Fantastic facilities. Fully equipped kitchen. Huge rooms. Beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Great location for exploring the area on motorbike.

Lovely, clean well equipped property and very good value for a short break.

The property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The owners were very accommodating and sorted out the only minor problem we had quickly and with no fuss.

The only negative comment I would make was that the sofas in the lounge were all old and fairly uncomfortable and smelled slightly musty, probably because the property is quite old and occasionally unoccupied. It did not spoil what was a very enjoyable stay at The Stables.

Lovely 3 nights away, home from home 😊

The cottage was lovely and cosy, but spacious. A real home away from home. Being a family of 5 we stayed in to eat for 2 of our 3 nights and everything that was needed to cook a meal was thought of. The bedding was absolutely beautiful and perfectly white and pressed. Our cocker spaniel absolutely loved the garden and was very happy doing laps of the area around the cottage!

Welcoming hosts, great accommodation, with lovely garden.

Lovely spacious, comfortable accommodation. Two ensuite bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space in the lounge and a secluded garden to sit in and read. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Appreciated the small food basket including local coffee and Welsh cakes left on arrival. House is walking distance to shops and Corwen museum. Had a good short break here enjoyed some lovely walks and a ride on the Llangollen railway.

Plenty of hot water for baths but showers not very powerful. Otherwise everything wonderful.
