A Lovely, Family-friendly Park!
We stayed in a Bronze Plus unit and were pleasantly surprised the moment we walked in. The place was clean, cosy, and nicely heated; so much so that we had to open a couple of windows to let some fresh air in! It had all the basic home comforts you’d want for a short break. The kids absolutely loved the pool. We had booked two sessions but only managed one, still great fun. The Halloween events over the weekend were fantastic, and full credit to the show team for keeping the little ones entertained throughout the evenings. Everything in the unit worked as expected, and overall, it made for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Another plus point, the park is conveniently located within a residential area, so popping out for food or a pint of milk is no trouble at all. All in all, definitely worth it!
The sofa seating could do with a bit of extra cushioning, a touch on the firm side for our liking, but nothing major. Wi-Fi is only FREE in the main facilities area, not INSIDE the unit. That said, if you’re lucky, you might catch a signal if the previous guests had any paid time left! If you’ve got younger children, the walk to the facilities might feel a bit long depending on where your caravan is located. We ended up driving most times, which was easier. A small note, I noticed the bar charged two different prices for the same drink on two separate occasions (£3.90 and £6.10 for a Shandy with non-alcoholic Peroni). Not a big deal, but worth double-checking your receipt if you’re ordering similar.

The kitchen and dining area was ok
The seating in the living room wasn't what we paid for it was a booth it was very uncomfortable an badly stained i booked this for my mums bucket list and i was really disappointed we were told on upgrade it would be a sofa this wasn't the case my mum couldn't really get comfortable at all due to this the entertainment was apporling there wasn't much to do on site the shop was close most of the time and practically empty and nothing to buy when it was open you had to pay for Internet witch was really bad and didn't work, you definitely don't get what pay for your staying here question eveything before even you even think about the upgrade

The place itself is really clean and tidy and the staff are great. There are a lot of feral children climbing on stages,

You are expected to wash and clean everything and leave as you find it, which is fine but I think the cleaners are relying on that. On the surface everything looked clean, then underneath the plates set out on the table I found notes reading “this has not been cleaned” under the bin bag that I removed at checkout was a dirty sanitary pad.

We are very grateful for the caravan upgrade and enjoyed our time there.
We were very happy with our stay in the caravan, and very grateful to the gentleman in reception who gave us a gold caravan instead of bronze. It would have been a much colder and miserable stay if he hadn’t I think.
The entertainment room was a bit smaller than I would have liked. We were squashed at the back and a small dance floor.

If all the above were made more achievable I was feel more at home staying on the park
Park was clean and tidy staff were pleasant easy to get to places . Park was out of the way from other sites
Basic cooking facilities was not provided ie tin opener . A basic Sharpe was blunt bendy and not good . Shower had no shelves to put toiletries on and shower needed to be up for tall people I had to duck under to shower. There was not enough room to move in shower . Temperature in shower was luke warm and was unable to turn up higher

We like everything about it place was clean, staff was friendly, kids loved the pool and the food.
