Stellar!

This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

Wonderful Stay at Villa @ Home Hotel Locarno! We had a fantastic experience at Villa @ Home. The place is beautifully designed, clean, and very cozy — it really feels like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect: peaceful, yet close to the center and the lake. We especially loved the charming garden and the lovely breakfast. Highly recommended!

An Amazing Stay in the Villa

I read the comments before booking so I knew I would find a nice room in a villa but we were still surprised. Upon entering we already blinked at the sound of jazz music coming from the living room. The villa is surrounded by a nice furnished garden that we did not use because when we arrived in the suite we immediately sat on the terrace enjoying a beautiful view of the town and the lake at the back. The suite for 3 adults is ideal. The double bed very comfortable and large. The sofa bed ideal for one person. Bathroom with balcony. Everything clean. In room also coffee maker, kettle and sweet snacks for waking. Cinzia&Nadia are 2 nice and welcoming Hosts who deliver a great communication even if we had a self check in

A dream villa! I just stayed overnight in the deluxe suite for 3 people in this wonderful villa. The directions received on the day of arrival were very clear. Even a video on how to open the safebox and then the doors left no doubt. I could recognize the building right away. It is an impeccably renovated and upscale privat villa from the last century. High ceilings and blackout curtains. The suite with a huge terrace with beautiful views made us feel we were in an exclusive place. The sofa bed for the third person was comfortable and large even if I wouldn't consider it suitable for 2 adults. Too bad we only stayed one night. We will gladly keep the address for a future stay. We found the price fair and was over 300 francs. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we left early but there would be that option as well

Very comfortable stay. They were very helpful when I couldn't find the property. They sent videos before-hand on how to reach and other details. No hassles at all; very smooth check-in and check-out. Extremely gracious and patient. Location was great too.

Nice place but too expensive for the value

good location and breakfast, although not included in the room price of 420 CHF per night.

Way too expensive. One room for 420 CHF with terrasse. The other room 390 CHF much smaller didn’t even have toilets in the room! They shamelessly abuse of high season (Moon and Stars festival). No reception and hence no full day baggage storage.

Great location, the old villa is well equipped and has large common areas such as kitchen and living rooms, as well as a seminar room.

Due to the structure of the room, only shower and sink were available immediately in the room. The toilet was private but one floor below, which is understandable but sometimes inconvenient.

Ein schönes, entspanntes Wochenende in Locarno

Es ist eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Villa mit grosszügigen und hohen Räumen. So edel haben wir noch nie residiert. 😄 Auch der Garten mit den Palmen und anderen schönen Bäumen und Pflanzen ist sehr hübsch und einladend. Nachts ist es angenehm ruhig, obwohl man in wenigen Gehminuten im Städtchen ist. Küche und Badezimmer sind modern und praktisch eingerichtet, die Betten sind gross und bequem. Während wir tagsüber unterwegs waren, wurden jeweils die Betten gemacht, Abfall entsorgt und die Kaffeekapseln ersetzt von einer guten Fee, die wir nie gesehen haben. Fragen oder Anliegen konnten wir jederzeit per whatsapp platzieren und es wurde jedesmal prompt reagiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne ein anderes Mal wieder!

Nicht gefallen ist der falsche Ausdruck, für uns war es nur ungewohnt, dass es nirgends eine Reception gibt und das Ein- und Auschecken digital abgewickelt wird. Aber es hat alles bestens geklappt dank der guten Kommunikation.

Umkompliziert, sehr freundlich ,sehr schöne Villa sehr zentral mit guten Restaurants in der Nähe auch ein Guter Lösung für dass man nicht in der Villa drin parkieren kann . Grazie

alles war ok da gibt es nichts konkretes was ich sagen sollte dass da Frühstück auf die andere Seite von der Strasse liegt stört nicht ansonsten kann man sich bringen lassen.

Perfekte erholsame Tage in wunderschöner Wohlfühlatmosphäre.

Die Villa ist sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend und lädt zum Entspannen nach einem aktiven Urlaubstag ein. Die Lage ist hervorragend, das Zentrum Locarnos ist fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Cinzia und Nadia sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie vermitteln einem das Gefühl, sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Eine wirklich sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
