Zen Central Luxury Apartment

We had a wonderful stay and would happily choose this apartment again. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the center of Heraklion and very close to the sea. Almost everything we wanted was within about a 7-minute walk, so we never needed to take a taxi. The apartment itself is very spacious, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and despite the central location, we heard absolutely no noise from either the street or the neighbors (we stayed August, the busiest time of year!) There are lots of windows, all with shutters, plenty of power outlets, lots of storage space throughout the apartment, two full-length mirrors, and several comfortable areas to sit and relax. The kitchen deserves a special mention. It is large and genuinely has almost *EVERY* utensil, dish and piece of equipment you could possibly need, in different sizes. There are two sinks, a very useful ventilation system above the stove, a large refrigerator with ice trays, a comfortable dining table, as well as thoughtful little things such as a kitchen towel and paper towels. It really felt like a kitchen designed for actually living and cooking, rather than just a basic holiday-apartment kitchenette. It was a pleasant surprise that allowed us to cut expenses on eating out. The hosts were also excellent. Communication was easy and friendly throughout our stay, and they were very helpful and flexible. They kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the apartment before the official check-in time, which meant we could enjoy the city without having to carry our bags around. They also prepared a lovely welcome gift for us, which was a very nice touch. Overall, the apartment has pretty much everything you could need for a comfortable stay. 10/10 from us

If you're only reading the "didn't like" section, notice we gave this apt 10/10 score :) Only a few very minor things worth mentioning, none of which would stop us from staying here again: 1. The large bedroom shutter needs to be closed in the correct direction in order to block the morning light properly, so this may be worth explaining to guests. 2. The Wi-Fi could be more reliable. We sometimes had to disconnect from it when trying to watch something on the TV, and the TV's built-in speakers are also fairly basic. 3. The shower requires a little care, as water sprayed directly toward the windows can leak outside. There is also no dedicated place to hang wet laundry. 4. Finally, because the apartment is arranged over two floors, the stairs may be a minor inconvenience for some guests – although for us, the spaciousness of the apartment more than made up for it. These are all small details in an otherwise excellent stay, and we would definitely recommend the apartment.

Volle Ausstattung der Küche, optisch sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage ist super, man ist direkt in der Innenstadt, nah am Hafen. Kann ich nur empfehlen, ich würde wieder dahin.
