Vegga Suites

The location of the apartment is perfect, right in the heart of Heraklion, which makes exploring the city on foot incredibly easy. There is also a parking lot about 450 meters away where guests can park for €5 per day, and we were always able to find a space. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, modern and luxurious, with a spacious bathroom that almost feels like a little private spa. The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The only downside of being right in the city center is some occasional street noise, especially on weekends. There are no loud clubs or music nearby, though, and it never stopped us from getting a good night’s sleep. For lighter sleepers, the host thoughtfully provides earplugs.

This was one of the most beautiful stays I have ever had. Not only because of the perfection location and gorgeous aesthetics, but the hosts of Vegga Suites are deeply passionate and you can tell how much they care for their guests. We were greeted at the door as soon as we arrived and were able to even leave our bags early. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The host was lovely. He provided recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and even helped us with transportation. The entire rest of our Greece trip we spoke about how much we loved Vegga Suites. A special greek cultural virtue is Philoxenia (φιλοξενία) meaning “friend to the stranger," and deep hospitality and generous treatment of guests, including complete strangers. This is what Vegga Suites is. I recommend highly.
