The location is perfect, step out the door to bars and restaurants. Only 10-15 mins walk to the Heraklion museum or the marina.
We had been expecting to have a view of the church, pictures are misleading. Instead we had a view of a derelict building currently under construction so couldn’t use the hot tub as overlooked by workers. Not that we would have as it was filthy! Brown scum around the edge, messaged and they came and wiped it off! Didn’t empty and refill with clean water, dirt and grit at the bottom. The apartment was the only way to access the mains water, so 1/2 hr after arrival the maintenance team needed to enter to check and again the next night. Should be advised of this when booking as you can’t relax. There was only one mug so we had to share a coffee each morning!!
