Penthouse Apartments in Heraklion Center

The location and the spacious unit. Apartment on the fourth floor with ho views and great to have a lift for the luggage.

We some issues which Eleni (the owner) was quick to respond to.

Eleni apartment large and well-furnished. It is on the edge of the old centre, so everything is reachable on foot, but there isn't a great deal of noise from the street. The bus stop to the airport is almost infront - cost €1.30, takes about 30 minutes, buses run every 10 minutes during the day. We did cooking some and the kitchen had everything that we needed. There's also a capsule coffee machine, microwave and washing machine. The main bedroom has a large comfortable double bed with air-conditioning. The apartment is on the 4th floor, with a lift, and has a large terrace overlooking Heraklion towards the sea. We enjoyed sitting there in the mornings and late evenings. The bathroom was excellent, with good water pressure in the shower: shampoo and body-wash provided. Everything was very clean and Eleni was always contactable and helpful. This is one of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in and l felt that it good value for what we paid. We would stay here again, if we came back.

There was fruit juice and water provided in the fridge which was so appreciated on our arrival. Coffee and tea facilities were provided. It was very clean with all kitchen facilities and a lovely hot shower. The rooftop was just superb and we enjoyed our mornings and evenings there overlooking the spectacular towers of St Minas cathedral and parts of the city. The apartment was central to everything, including a mini mart and many shops and cafés.

Our only small complaint was that the beds weren’t made up, and as we arrived exhausted from our travels, it was a slight disappointment. Eleni was quick to respond to any of our queries however, so on the grander scheme of things, this is a minor issue.

At the time of check-in, our accommodation was canceled, so I had to find a new one quickly. Our host, Eleni, made the apartment available to us immediately and provided fruit juice, water, and beer in the refrigerator. Eleni was helpful in every way and even allowed us to check out of the apartment later. The apartment is in an excellent location, three minutes from the bus stop, from which you can reach Ammoudara Beach and the airport directly with bus lines 6 and 1. The center is within walking distance, the Morosini fountain is about 5 minutes away, but the market and shopping street are also very close.The apartment is fully equipped, and the huge terrace offers a fantastic view of the city and the cathedral. It was very pleasant to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely be back! Efharisto Eleni!
