Koules Sea View City Apartment

Koules Sea View apartment is the perfect place to stay in Heraklion. It is close to all of the "goings on" but not too close. I felt right at home in the apartment and it is well stocked. The balcony is massive with a view of the harbor. I spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony where it is well shaded and there is always a breeze.

Really there was nothing I didn't like.

Fantastic location overlooking the fort and close to bars and restaurants. The elevator was great for those with heavy luggage. The fridge was stocked with water and there were biscuits, coffee and snacks on arrival.

The space was perfect with a stunning view of the ocean & fortress. It was clean & comfortable. The host left us water & snacks (you can't drink the tap water) which got us going until we could go to the store. Also, this apartment is an excellent location. We walked everywhere, from the marina, to the bus station & everything in between. Location is only 5 min walk up the street to the central area & around the corner to a small supermarket.

Our only complaint was the shower. No matter what we did, the water did not go towards the drain in the bathroom or the shower drain. Thus the floor by the sink got flooded every time. We cleaned it up, really a minor inconvenience, but just something to be aware of, the bath mat is not enough. Clear & responsive communication with the host.

This is a superbly comfortable appartment is in a top location with breathtaking unimpeded panoramic sea views overlooking the Koules Fortress and the scenic surrounding old marina. It has a very comfortable feel and is located few minutes walk from the central pedestrian street of Heraklion old town, port and bus station. It's big enough to play hide and seek with your kid. There are 2 bedrooms, a bar, fully equipped kitchen and cool lounge area. Washing machine, dishwasher, toast, mikrowave, oven, beach equipment are at your disposal. It's clean and neat and there are all cleaning and washing supplies you might need. It was lovely surprise to find water, juice, biscuits, pastries, coffee, bread, ham and cheese welcoming our arrival. The large terrace and furniture is great for entertaining on an evening, enjoying your coffee and meals or simply taking in the spectacular views. Wifi is excellent. Communication with our host was perfect. So, if you are looking for a house that is generously provisioned, as well, as providing incredible views and very comfortable beds and plenty of tasteful furnishing then you have the right place.
