Dio Residences - Stylish Living in Heraklion Center

The room was new and breakfast was included. The owner is very accommodating with luggage storage and late checkout. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are small although comfortable but there are no other facilities. There’s no other common hotel area or pool. Ours was a small room with a slither of sea view. I thought it was very overpriced since it was a bed and breakfast. It’s convenient that there’s a parking lot next-door if I can call it that although it’s usually full. We selected the place because it said it came with parking but it does not. You have to look for a parking spot. It’s convenient if you want to go to the old city, but don’t want to be inside the old city walls. The location was very convenient for us because we had a rental car.

Amazing place! Perfect location — just 2 minutes from the city center, with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The apartments are exceptionally clean — honestly, some of the cleanest apartments I have ever stayed in. Comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Highly recommended and definitely one of the best places to stay in Heraklion!

I was confused by the request for a deposit of €150 against damages before our stay, as I hadn’t seen any mention of it in the details previously, which would have been good, as I thought it was a scam. I’ve never been asked for this with Booking.com properties before. There was also an additional tax to pay on departure which was unexpected too. It would be good to have both these extra costs put in the property description. The staff who I communicated with were very helpful
