What a perfect place to stay in Hopfgarten & can’t wait to be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Such a convenient location, 5-10 min walk from the gondola and local grocery shops with cafe’s and bars in between. Very cosy, good sized rooms and ski storage in a dry room basement. And the staff are beyond lovely and helpful - such a friendly stay. We will absolutely be staying here for our next trips to the slopes! :)

Only one reccomendation is maybe a mattress topper on the bed, as it’s quite a solid and hard mattress. But we still had great sleeps :)

We were extremely happy with our stay at Haus Lukas, and would go there again.

The selection was much more than necessary, and this was refilled constantly. There were many staff on duty, and they were extremely attentive to the needs of those guests having breakfast.

With regards to the actual selection of food available for breakfast, there was nothing to dislike. My wife and I were very happy with everything at Haus Lukas.

Nice place and landlady, but not for longer holidays

Haus Lukas is very nicely located in the centre of Hopfgarten, with several restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The landlady was super nice and allowed us an eraly check-in without further ado. Also, the room was spottlessly clean. So in general, it was all pretty okay :-)

Unfortunately, Haus Lukas would need a refurbishment, rather sooner than later. Our room looked a bit like a postcard from the 1970s, with dark carpets, greenish bathroom tiles and rather worn-down furniture. Also, the experience was miles from what the pictures on booking.com suggested… It’s nice to have a place with a history and the charme that comes with it, but the team would do itself a favour by keep things up to date a bit :-( Staying here was okay for us for a night, but you would’t want to spend your two-week holidays here…

Very good

Good buffet style breakfast. Breakfast area was a little small, tables not always available. Take care with description when booking, the only rate available to me did not state “ Breakfast Included” The hotel description said that a good breakfast was served. I ended up being charged for breakfast- I think the description was ambiguous and managed to negotiate a discount.

Great, easy ski accommodation.

Great continental breakfast, lots of options, fresh bread and hot eggs. very clean room, modern bathroom with good shower. Good soundproof windows to block out historic church bells and cold winds. Host spoke perfect English and helped us with local transport information. Good hairdryer in the room. Good storage for skis and ski clothes. One day it was very wet and they offered a ski clothes drying service. Very close to the gondola and easy to get the train to other local towns which is free with a card they give you at check in.

Kettle/fridge in the room perhaps, although the windowsil was very cold and there was a good coffee machine available downstairs. The town is incredibly quiet. a lot of shops and cafes closed at the weekend, plus reduced public transport at the weekend. Not a negative about this place but good to know in advance, especially if you are arriving Saturday night.

No frills,No fuss,No problem.

Booking in was quick.Karen was great, so helpful throughout our stay, giving us free rail tickets to Kitzbuhel to watch the Super G. The room was large and clean which is all you could ask for. I would stay there again just for its location to the ski lift and train station.

Sehr idyllisch, komfortabel und alle sehr freundlich.

Sehr gute Lage im Ortskern und trotzdem ruhig. Linienbus direkt vor der Tür. Dieser kann kostenlos mit der Gästekarte genutzt werden. Skilift fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Personal sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel.

Das Zimmer selbst war etwas karg eingerichtet. Da hätte es gerne ein wenig mehr Deko (Bilder o.ä.) und mehr Hängemöglichkeiten für Sachen (Wandgarderobe) geben dürfen. Dies sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten, sonst war alles top.

Ein wunderschönes Wochenende

Wir waren mit Freunden für ein Wochenende in Hopfgarten. Haus Lukas ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Man kann die Bahn mit der Gästekarte nutzen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kam uns preislich sehr mit dem Frühstück entgegen. Das Haus ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber trotzdem seinen Charm und ist mit Leben gefüllt. Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und für uns als Gruppe war es perfekt.

Für Kurzübernachtungen ausreichend

Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Sehr gute Lage, man kann Restaurants, Geschäfte etc alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen.

Das Zimmer und die Einrichtung sind nicht mehr die Jüngsten. Leitungen sind nicht unter Putz gelegt und man sieht Risse in den Wänden. In unserem Zimmer gab es kleine Stufe in Richtung Bad, leider alles mit dem gleichen Teppich überzogen, so dass man die Stufen nicht sieht. Man kann sich super gut die Zehen stoßen. Es dauert bisweilen ewig, bis warmes Wasser kommt.

Die Lage von Haus Lukas ist super, direkt ein Parkplatz am Haus ist optimal. Die Freundlichkeit der Besitzerin des Hauses ist sehr bemerkenswert.

Leider hat es etwas gedauert bis in der Dusche warmes Wasser kam, aber das Problem ist bei wenig Auslastung bekannt und es wird nach Lösungen gesucht.

Die Lage ist wirklich super, auch dass der Parkplatz beim Haus direkt zur verfügung steht. Auch die angetroffenen Damen waren alle sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend!! Frühstück war auch sehr lecker!

Leider war es im Zimmer eisig kalt, es ist alles sehr dünn und man kann in der Nacht sogar die Katzen miauen hören auf der Straße. Leider war auch das Wasser in der Dusche eisig kalt, es wurde leider auch nach 5min nicht wärmer, sondern immer kälter.. :(

ausgezeichneter Kaffee , Frühstück für jeden was dabei, ob herzhaft oder süss , auch ergänzt mit hauseigenen Produkten (Apfelmost) , super ist die Lage der Pension in Liftnähe , ein prima Ausgangspunkt für den Wintersport im Wilden Kaiser ,

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für die Weiterfahrt nach Italien

Die Lage war super, direkt in der Stadt. Fußläufig waren Restaurants und Bars sehr gut zu erreichen. Das Haus war ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und sehr lecker.
