First row to the sea stay with everything you need and might desire.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Jagodna. Ana made sure to make it a memorable and as this vacation was a present for my mom's birthday, her and the rest of the lovely staff went above and beyond! Location wise: The luxury of a close to private and very calm bay was exactly what we hoped for. We made great use of the provided kayak's and paddle boards and explored the nearby bays which made the holiday even nicer as we could go off and be adventurous without having to get in the car and leave the villa. Everything we needed was provided :) But when we did want to venture out and explore the rest of Hvar, we were only 10 minutes drive away from Hvar town and only 30 minutes drive from other interesting points. Super convenient. Food: Included breakfast was 10/10 and nothing was missed. Plenty of choice and fresh ingredients, with seamless service. Great start to the day always. We also had dinner there and it was absolutely delicious, with fish grilled right in front of our eyes. I also really loved the appetisers buffet which had many choices - perfect for us who can't make up the mind and want just a little bit of everything! Good value for money as well. Overall, we had such a relaxing stay and everything was clean and very well thought through. The first row to the sea view was my favourite and I hope to wake up to it again sometime! PS. we also visited the Brusje Heritage Museum which was a great peak into the richness of history and how important it is to keep some items safe and behind, for they provide us a tangible memory of where we came from.

Would have liked a Kettle and supply of coffee and teas and milk. Cost of taxi into Hvar as Jagodna is so isolated, but it did mean that we enjoyed more time to relax!

Gorgeous waterside retreat

This spot is honestly heaven. We were looking to unwind by the sea for a couple of days, while also being able to explore Hvar town and this was exactly that. Exclusive spots by the water where you can jump straight into crystal clear water, totally private with no one around. Kayaks, snorkelling gear and paddle boards there for your use whenever you would like (free of charge). You’re treated to a complimentary drink during your stay which my husband and I had on our final evening in the garden looking out over the water after dinner in Hvar. Total bliss. It’s a 10min drive from Hvar so you can explore the town in the evenings before retreating back to the peace and quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening too which was lovely. Breakfast is also great and included.

We had a magical time at Villa Jagodna

Such a beautiful Villa, in an idyllic location. Ana greeted us on arrival, late at night, and offered us welcome drinks to relax with on their terrace. The individual sunbathing terraces right on the sea, were a dream, easy to access within minutes from the room, with privacy and serenity. Kayaks & paddleboards were available any time, and all our hosts made us feel so relaxed the whole time. The breakfast buffet was just what we needed, and Ana offered everyday the choice of further cooked items, made-to-order very efficiently, and all delicious. We didn't have the evening meal, but the fresh grilled fish smelled incredible! Their recommended driver Frano was able to give us lifts into town every day at short notice, and again always super relaxed whilst being very efficient. All in all, an utterly charming and heavenly experience.

An amazing getaway relaxing in a pristine bay. A true hidden gem!

The location was stunning and the bay is pristine and such an hidden gem. Ana and her family, along with all the staff were so lovely and hospitable, it really made the stay one to remember. The dinner service was incredible with a great spread of starters and sides and the Fresh fish and Meat selections were amazing. They cooked our selections them right in front of us on an open coal bbq. We couldn’t fault our visit and we dream of one day returning to Villa Jagodna. Thank you again!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay in a property that you will love, this is it!

This place is an oasis! What a place. The hotel is fantastic, the food was excellent and the staff were so attentive and delivered exceptional service. The private beaches along with the clear blue and turquoise water was beautiful. Anna and her staff will guarantee you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the bay, even providing free to use Kayak's and boards. We loved it and will definitely return.

Truly exceptional!

Villa Jagodna is a gem of a place and I would give it 10 stars if I could. It's a family run business. The lovely Ana and her father, Petar, go out of their way to make sure that they pay special attention to each one of their guests. The food is always fresh and delicious, and never repetitive. One evening they specially made a large fish dish (family recipe) for us, which was simply amazing. We truly enjoyed the kayaks, snorkel equipment, paddle boards which were all free to use, as well as the plenty sunbeds perched along the totally private bay. It was our first time here, but certainly won't be our last. You have to see it to believe it!

Ana and her family were the perfect hosts. The property is secluded and right on a beautiful bay, easy access to the water and the views from every unit are gorgeous . The meals were immaculately prepared, and were so good we had dinner twice with grilled seafood and meats over a charcoal fire, with wonderful side dishes. I cannot recommend Villa Jagodna highly enough

Nice hotel located in a beautiful bay

The location in the beautiful bay was perfect. Breakfasts are nice and includes lots of nice items. Ana was very accommodating and made us feel very comfortable. I recommend eating dinner there because the nightly dinner buffet and BBQ is outstanding. We didn't plan to eat dinner at the hotel but ended up eating there 3 nights in a row. They are also very nice to let you use kayaks and SUPs without an extra charge.

Although we were upgraded to a double room, the rooms were a bit outdated and the decor was basic. The room did not match the beauty of the rest of the hotel. The pillows and bed could be improved for a better sleep at night. I hope they can make some updates because the hotel overall is wonderful.

Idyllic remote spot near Hvar Town.

Lovely family owned property. Petar and his daughter Ana were amazing hosts at this idyllic remote spot near Hvar town. The crystal clear waters gave great opportunity for swimming, cayaking, snorkeling etc. We ate at the hotel 2 nights and enjoyed the BBQ with amazing Dorada and Sea Bream the first night and turbot on the 2nd.

This hotel is a little gem, a unique boutique hotel, 5 kms from Hvar it is in a secluded baying provided excellent service Dinner is a varied cooked to your request barbecue of fish, shrimps or meat, marvellously relaxing and enjoyable, with only hotel guests and passing yachties. We loved it, two aging ex back packers.

The location is perfect, tucked away between the quiet coves, just what you need if you want to get away and unwind. The hosts are more than accommodating to make you feel comfortable. Even down to the minor detail everything was perfect.

Perfect Paradise

The property is perfect if you desire to relax & rinse away the stress of a busy life. The island of Hvar is charming but the atmosphere and serenity of Villa Jagodna will ensure you are able to get back to the important thing in life… appreciation & gratitude. Ana and her father are the best hosts. They are caring & amazingly helpful. I hope they always keep this perfect paradise as we would love to come back! This place is perfect for couples. We rented scooters (we both have our motorcycle licenses) to get around the island. That was suggested by Ana in our welcome email. Everything was perfect!

The location is breathtaking and combined with the food and hospitality from ana and petar I really can't fault a single thing. Absolutely spectacular

Everything was way beyond my expectations. Anna and her family and team are the loveliest people and care so much about the guests. The entire place is spotlessly clean and every detail and comfort is considered. The food was amazing - the best I have had in Croatia. Fresh, delicious, and large portions. A special thank you for accommodating my gluten intolerance and having gluten-free produce on hand. I wanted to stay for ever and when I left I felt so well rested and relaxed. Thank you so much. I want to come and stay again soon.

Perfect Stay!

This place was definitely one of the highlights of our 16 days trip in Croatia! I stayed here for 3 nights but still felt that it was too short. The place looks just like the pictures, the room was cozy, it has a balcony facing the sea, the public area is well decorated, we could just sit in the garden to chill. There are a few ‘private’ spots with sun beds and direct access to the sea, there are also kayaks we could use for free. Also, the food was amazing! All kinds of salads, soups, pastas were great, the grilled fish and meat were very fresh and tasty! We really enjoyed everything there. After you book, the hotel will provide you with contact details of a taxi company that you can call to make a reservation, it takes 80 kuna from Hvar town center to the hotel.
