Kalavanda Apartment

The location is just perfect, right in the old town near the square, the port, the market. All an easy stroll. Contemporary styled apartment with beautiful terrace and views. Would love the hot tub for cooler months, but too hot for summer! Property host is so lovely and made helpful suggestions and assisted booking a guide and wine tasting. Very grateful!

The location is an absolute plus, and has a stunning bar underneath, which we knew. But if you are a light sleeper or earlier to bed, you may wish to consider whether being above a bar open until 2am is for you.

Location was great. Host was lovely with great recommendations. Pillows were perfect. Everything was comfortable including hot tub, bed and towels.

Lack of privacy (waiter from bar downstairs stormed into our room, was extremely rude, made accusations and raised his voice to us because of the building’s drainage problems), loud music downstairs from 12 pm to 1 am, give or take. Manager doesn’t know how to treat clients (tried to justify waiter disturbing our privacy in a very intimate moment instead of properly apologising and trying to fix something inexcusable). Both the bar downstairs and the property are owned by the same person, so the waiter was already aware of the building’s drainage problems (water that falls onto the terrace is eventually poured onto the public pathway between the bar and the bar’s tables). Guests are not warned about this in advance and it’s obviously not their fault that the building’s owner chose to channel dirty water onto the area his/her clients use downstairs.
