Beautiful view and wonderful stay

Wonderful location! Easy to roll luggage from the ferry. Loved that we could sit on our bed and watch the sunset shine on the buildings of Hvar and feel we were still part of the action. Would stay here again. Room #7.

I loved it overall. It was perfect for a 3 day trip but I wish we had the room with the port view.

I loved that the property was right on the port, close to all the restaurants, cafes, beaches, etc. The location was excellent! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was cold as I like it and the water was hot!! It is perfect for friends, for a short stay!

The floors are weak so the neighbor upstairs walked very loudly at 5 am. The bathroom door couldn’t close properly. Lastly, I thought the room we booked had the port view.

Great value on port-front location; not for light sleepers.

Great location, easy check in and very accommodating with luggage post check out. Comfortable bed, clear kitchennet and bathroom. AC worked well. Nice view directly on the port.

On note for light sleepers: you are on the main thoroughfare of the port, which is lively until the early morning (3-4am!). You will hear a) the music from the liquor store below, the banter of patrons to the gelato store. Bring earplugs if that concerns you.

If you want the full experience of Hvar this place is perfect for location and views

The room definitely lived up to our expectations. The location and the view from the room was so stunning and the hosts made it very easy for us to check in early and drop our bags. The decor was beautiful and just what was pictured.

Sadly because of the amazing location it was very noisy. We would have loved to have kept the windows open but there was so much foot traffic below and we hadn’t realised a nightclub a few feet away. So around 2am we had alot of noise from both people coming in and on the street. This cannot be helped obviously.

Don’t book if you want a good night sleep

The room was a good size, clean and decorated well. It is situated right by the seafront which is lovely and very convenient.

The above floorboards / ceiling offered no soundproofing whatsoever. Every time the occupant above walked around, there was a loud, persistent creaking noise that sounded as if they were coming through our ceiling. This disturbance was so loud and occurred at approximately 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM every morning, consistently waking us up. It became evident that the person above likely resides there full-time and follows a regular work schedule. I contacted Clara regarding the issue. While she did apologise, she informed me that moving us to another room was not possible. I then requested a partial refund due to the significant disruption to our sleep caused by structural issues. Unfortunately, this request was declined, and Clara subsequently stopped responding to my messages. I found this lack of communication disappointing and not reflective of good customer service. There are 4 rooms part of Hvar riva rooms within this block, so I’m not sure if other rooms also experienced this disturbance as well. Also the safe didn’t work, there was nowhere to put wet towels / swimming costumes, and there was no daily maid service. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

Price for location.

Location.

Whole concept of this accommodation is misleading. The name of this accommodation is Riva, do not mistake it for Riva Hotel. Rooms are small, very small. Quality of the bed is great, bedding as well. This is an old building under serious construction with few rooms being rented. Rooms are equipped well, modern, just very small. Terrifying dirty and slippery entrance with cleaning supplies at the doorstep. See pictures.

Getting up to the room, in dark entrance with lack of lighting not great. The view out of the window was onto a scruffy yard. Would feel claustrophobic after a while

Good location but nothing special

The location was wonderful!

The entrance to this apartment unit was a mess and looked like an abandoned building. However, after speaking with the manager, they cleaned it up. No elevators/lift which is a challenge to get luggages up and down the stairs.

Great location right on the harbor. We had a room with a balcony which was extra special. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Host was helpful and responsive.

We didn't have any issues with noise, but it is right on the plaza so might be loud during the summer with the crowds.

the location was top notch with an awesome view of the promenade and the sea. room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels, toiletries and coffee/tea. Kristina was lovely and accommodating. had a nice chat with her as well.

Location is amazing, right in the heart of Hvar. The room was very clean and tidy.The host Kristina is amazing. She even let us have a late checkout due to our late ferry timings and answered all of our questions. The free breakfast at central park hotel was great.

No microwave.No hot water kettle.Coffee Machine didnt work.

Exceptional

The location was extraordinary -- right on the Riva boardwalk. When we open the window, we get a fantastic unobstructed view of the port. This is a centrally located room, so everything is within reach -- for fortress, restaurants, the walkway, the boats, etc. The room was a bit small, but plenty of cupboard space to put belongings. Since the window is right over the busy Riva walkway with the gelato place and clubs, it is noisy when the window is open. But when the window is closed, 99% of the noise is blocked out.

Nothing really bad to report on this location. If you insist on leaving the window open because you want the cool sea breeze, you will also get some noise. We kept the window closed at night when sleeping.

Great view!

The location of these rooms are just amazing. When you open your window you feel like you are staying on the water. The size of the room and bathroom was very spacious.

The area is very noisy. Make sure you take some earplugs and perhaps a sleepting tablet as the location is right in the middle of a number of bars. If you take the necessary precaution i would say that the view beats the noise.

Exceptional

The team at Hvar Riva were very friendly and super accommodating. I arrived slightly earlier than expected but they tried very hard to get somebody to me and were very quick to respond. You can’t beat the location it is perfect and I also love how easy it is to get to nice restaurants and bars. Kristina is great
