Perfection

The room was much bigger than we expected. Very spacious, very clean. Had nice little homey touches. The shower products were an added bonus and were high quality. The view was beautiful, we spent many sunrises and sunsets on the balcony. The location was perfect, a short easy walk to town. I cannot fault this stay. I highly recommend to anyone wanting somewhere nice in Hvar.

Cracking little apartment

The view is what you stay here for, but the apartment was well equipped and spacious. Amazing shower pressure. Great location too- 3 mins down/5 mins back.

The view was amazing and the central Location perfect for us. Our room was very clean and perfect for our stay. I hadn’t realised we didn’t have a kitchenette so check when you’re booking which room type you have, however we did have the use of a sink/washing machine etc so it did not affect our stay.

The Views, so amazing!

The views, the views, the views! OMG, the views! The unit itself was also wonderful. It was large and well laid out with wonderful amenities. We would absolutely stay here again. loved it.

No elevator - LOL. In order to get the views, you have to climb a lot of stairs, everytime you came or went. But for us, so worth it. If you have physical disabilities, you might have to uber every time, but if you're physically able, this place is so worth it for the views. The location is also good, it's just straight down to the main promenade.

A beautiful apartment with the most fantastic view. We really enjoyed our 5 days in Hvar - it’s a beautiful and fascinat

The view from our apartment balcony of the historic port of Hvar was just breathtaking, and we spent much time (and every meal) on the balcony taking it all in and watching the numerous boats coming and going. Despite apartment number 5 being a studio apartment, it is huge, very well designed and equipped and scrupulously clean. Matko was a brilliant host, so kind, attentive and helpful. We definitely aim to return. Prospective guests need to be aware that there are about 150 steps down the port, bus stop and taxi rank which would be exceptionally difficult with a suitcase. We didn’t find the steps arduous otherwise but they might be challenging for anybody with mobility issues. We took advice and used a taxi on arrival and departure.

Fantastic apartment in lovely Hvar 😊

Lovely apartment with a fantastic view. The host, Matko, was such a nice man. He met us on arrival and offered us welcome drinks (beer and wine). He also messaged/spoke to us during our week there to ask if we needed anything. The apartment is up some steps (around 174) but this didn’t bother us - the balcony view was worth it 😊

Central, modern apartment with picturesque views of Hvar!

Our host was available to meet us and gave us lots of useful information regarding the area and things to do, he offered us a welcome drink and made us feel extremely welcome. Our host also explained that on check-out if needed, bag storage was available. The room was was modern, clean and spacious and the view from the balcony was magical - the view was worth the climb up all of the stairs! The toiletries provided were also a great extra, they were natural and organic which I loved! The property exceeded my expectations and I will 100% be returning in the future - thank you Matko! :)

We loved this property. The view was breathtaking. Our host Makto was a super star, he was super helpful, sent us a tons of information prior to checking in, kept us informed, gave us welcome drinks.

Amazing stay

The host was so hospitable and friendly. Matco is the nicest man. He gave a glass of choice on arrival. Beer, wine etc. The white wjne was beautiful and home grown. The views were spectacular, the room very comfortable. Loved it and would book again.

There are a few steps up and down to the town. I don’t love steps at the best of times but there is a short cut which made it easier. It’s literally a few minutes up and down. Very close and doable. overall a minor thing.

Stunning Views in a 5 star Apartment

Marco is a great host and made sure to add his special touch to all the simple details found throughout the apartment- from the body wash, to the umbrella in the balcony, the delicious coffee and the white wine he shared upon arrival! Thank you for making our stay extra special!

Excellent location above the harbor away from the crowds

The pictures don’t do it justice. Just beautiful and so well maintained. Super clean with attention to the details. The highlight for us was the view of the harbor below. It was a true pleasure sitting on the patio watching the boats go in and out. The location above the village made it an easy walk down right into the heart of the action. Taking a taxi up to the location was the best answer to bringing our luggage there. It was a simpler process.

Walking back up the steps took a bit of energy but totally doable. As long as you are capable of steps you shouldn’t hesitate.

It was the best accommodation experience we ever had. Huge apartment, very minimalist and modern decoration, it had everything we needed and more. View is unbelievable. Very close to the heart of Hvar town. The host Matko was super nice as well. We hope to show him the Cheers bar when he visits Boston :) Looking forward to being back and hopefully to stay for a longer time.

Property was clean and furnished well. Fabulous view of the harbour and marina.

Shame about the 172 steps to get up and down to the town!😬🤪 kept us fit. There were no dish towels to dry dishes or sharp knives to cut up fruit, eg melon! Which proved quite a task!! Toilet sink too small to clean dishes!

Best view in Hvar! We really loved our stay! Matko is such a good host, very hepful, attentive to our needs and he gave us good advice about how to use our time in a smart way. The room is very spacious and it had the best view we had ever had in a vacation rental place. There is coffee and tea in the room and there's a washer machine available to do laundry. If we ever go back to Hvar we won't hesitate where to stay, we'll stay again at Matko's place.

Excellent stay. The host was extremely welcoming, he noticed it was my girlfriend's birthday during our stay and later arrived at our room with a bottle of Hvar wine as a gift. Also recommended a great sunset spot and provided us with some beers to enjoy it! The view is incredible and made for a memorable visit.

The apartament is big has everything you need and everything is new. The host was very friendly helped us a lot. But the best is the view, we spent half of time at balcony talking eating drinking and looking the view. Great memories if I could come back every weekend I would do.

Our Bonkan Hvar room was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, clean and very close to Hvar square, nice restaurants and bars. There’s a few beaches nearby too, stony but lovely! Matko the host was amazing couldn’t do enough for you but also left you to your own devices. I would recommend staying here!!! 😃
