Very enjoyable

Right in the centre of town, comfortable bed, clean and tidy, bonus of fridge and amenities.

Was a lovely two night break with walks and food and wine in some nice places around Hexham

It was clean and location brilliant

Very comfortable apart from when upstairs was running water the sink in our room gurgled until got up and blocked it with the plug

Overall, for what we paid we enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location.

The location was great. It was very central, right next to market, shops, restaurants and not too far from the car park. Heating (thermostat outside of room) was easy to control and meant the room was lovely and warm, when it was well below freezing outside. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had pretty much everything you needed, including some lovely tea, biscuits and hot chocolate.

There was clearly an issue with the kitchen drain. The plug hole in kitchen sink would gurgle really loudly when room(s) above used either their sink/toilet/shower. Gurgling was so loud it woke us up during the night, but luckily we figured out putting the plug in gave us some peace and quiet. There was also someone upstairs early evening shouting very aggressively, which was a bit unnerving. Hopefully not a permanent issue! Lastly, just a small thing for the owner, the remote for TV and also the wall clock weren’t working properly, hopefully just a battery issue.

Really close to the Abby where we were attending a gig

Upon arrival the room had a damp smell and was really cold. The plumbing wasn’t the best as it was making a loud noise draining away after using the sink and shower. I could hear the upstairs tenants moving around.

It was clean and located right in the centre. The property had everything you need and the host is easily contactable. It was a cute little property with modern furnishings. Loved looking over the street at people walking by as I was working!

Beautifully clean and freshly decorated with everything needed for our Hexham holiday in situ. This is a high quality apartment in a perfect central location just a few steps away from shops restaurants and bars. Terrific communication from our hostess, too. Probably the best apartment in Hexham and highly recommended

Lovely room well laid out and well equipped. Location right at the heart of the old town. Very good communication from host with clear direction to collect keys.

The stairs up to the room were a little bit steep and narrow for us but we managed.

Market View 1 is a superbly presented, comfortable place to stay. It’s is in a great location for the town and its amenities and is very well equipped. The host is also very helpful and effective with communications making our stay seamless and very easy

Comfortable but didn’t sleep great due to the noise from upstairs and the sink.

It had everything I needed. Bed was quite small for a double but was really comfy. Great location.

Really noisy from the flat above, you can hear everything, especially them walking about. Stairs are very steep and narrow, difficult to get up with luggage (even small travel case). Kitchen sink makes random noising all night.

I could not identify the location. I anticipated some signage denoting the rental. I did not get the email from Bookings giving me the code for key box. Owner graciously responded and gave me information. It all worked out by I was concerned for a bit.

The location was great for our business trip....the accommodation was probably one of the best serviced accommodation places that I've stayed in.... Plenty of choice for pubs etc in the area.... The owner provided full instructions regarding entry to the two bedroom accommodation....

We couldn't get the TV to work.,... it's a bit of a faf finding the location.... it's an unmanned facility.... therefore key press system to gain entry

a bit hard to find the flat because it only has 25 on it and we were in 26 -probably needs both numbers on the entrance door. Would have been great to have some milk with our tea or coffee - any would have done . Most places have a comprehensive welcome pack these days for when you arrive or for the first morning at least.

felt underwhelmed

prime location

tv was not fit for purpose, unable to watch terrestrial channels and was unable to tune them in, had Netflix provided but this failed due to no signal errors. the bed although comfortable was badly designed due to not being able to sit up in it as it’s on wheels and when sitting up this pushed the bed away from the wall as it’s on wheels. the toilet seat does not stay up when you lift it and was constantly slapped on the back by the seat cover. the hair dryer didn’t work and the instructions to find the place was quite difficult. We booked a 2 bed apartment but only had access to one. I emailed about this but received no reply. The price being £158 for me was vastly over what I would have paid for it.
