Beautiful star cottage

Warm cost cottage with everything you could need for a short break or longer from the beautiful star decor, to the fully equipped kitchen with thoughtful little extra such a welcome pack, milk in the fridge and chocolate next to the bed.

Only thing was no light outside so took me a few attempts to unlock the door in the rain.

Lovely, cosy and welcoming.

Beautiful cottage that is central to the town centre - really great communication from the owners too. The cottage was very well stocked with all the little things you need on a trip away (e.g. condiments / cleaning products) which was brilliant too. Very cosy and spotlessly clean- will definitely book again next time we visit Hexham.

Location was excellent - close to town and accessible through a lovely park. Spacious and comfortable property.

Instructions getting there from the station were slightly wrong and we were a bit confused by them.

Really enjoyed staying at Seal cottage, felt right at home. Property was nice and clean and owners surprised us with little treats on arrival which was very much appreciated. Nicely located near the park with short walk to lovely Hexham centre. Off-street parking located few min from the property.

The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. plenty of toys and games available for children. We would definitely visit again

The only thing we didn't like was there was no safety gate as specified, we ended up using a clothes horse across the landing.

Excellent in every way

Fantastic stay in this lovely cosy cottage. We stayed one week and the cottage had everything we could have possibly needed. It was very comfortable throughout and had a well equipped kitchen. A short stroll across the park brings you to many shops and restaurants. Parking was not an issue and was readily available a 2 minute walk away. Sam and Vicky were brilliant hosts

Wwonderful stay in cozy cottage in very friendly town.

Fantastic location on a park. Loved seeing families walking their children to school through the park. We were close enough to the main part of town that we could walk everywhere. Very cozy inside and welcoming.

We enjoyed the high quality of everything in the cottage and the lovely garden, trees and rock wall views. There was a welcome pack which we loved and a bouquet of yellow 💛 roses. It's complicated to find but the detailed instructions got us there flawlessly.

The parking is not convenient but we felt the cottage was worth the trouble.

The cottage was beautiful inside and out, excellent location and lovely welcome pack. We were traveling with a new baby so spent evenings in and it was a home from home feel.

only drawback is having to use the park path to unload the car. the instructions and permit for doing this are really helpful and clear but with a lot of baby things and a staircase to go down it wasn’t straightforward. it can’t be helped though!
