Super cosy and comfortable house centrally located in town. Great location for exploring Hadrian's Wall and countryside hikes. Plentiful local amenities including super markets, restaurants and cafés. Accommodating, responsive, and helpful host. Would highly recommend!

Eden’s House is quite compact but there is everything you need for a stay of a few days. It is comfortable and nicely furnished. The situation is perfect for walking in to Hexham and convenient for getting out of town to explore Hadrian’s Wall where you can walk for miles and there is so much Roman history to see across the various locations.

Location excellent communication very good property well maintained
Rechargeable light in dark corner needed charging ,roof light over bed didn’t seem to work amounts of dust on chair seats at breakfast table. Also the skirting board was parting from the wall sadly.Got the impression the property being deservedly so popular must be difficult to do a deep clean and service between occupants(This is not intended as a criticism the property was most acceptable)

Cleanliness facilities and location.
Nothing really. The only fault would be no phone charging points, and the pull chord ceiling rose in the bathroom wasn’t securely fixed. This in no way detracted from a wonderful stay and we would certainly go back.

A lovely little property. Clean, comfortable and everything you need within a couple of minutes walk - fuel, supermarket, pub, the abbey and the town centre. Parking was on street with a permit which was fine. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again. Thank you.
WiFi was a bit temperamental but we managed ok.

The first thing that hit me was the warmth - the cottage was supremely cosy all through the day. As I spent most of the time inside working, in a cold February this was so welcome. The cottage itself was small and quirky but everything needed was there and the layout meant that it didn't feel cramped. I particularly liked the airiness of the upstairs room with its skylight. The location was perfect - close to the town centre but without emergency vehicles constantly passing. The shower was excellent, warm and a good force of water. And a lovely big heated towel rail was a bonus.
Nothing. It was perfect for my requirements.

I loved the location which is very handy for dog walks around the three Hexham parks. It is also central to the ancient market place and Abbey as well as all of the cafes, cinema, theatre, etc.
It had everything I needed as a solo traveller staying for 11 days. It now has a small freezer as well as a fridge. Thank you, Maxine. I love the design of the interior. At the top of the stairs, you immediately enter the bedroom which has a small en suite with a bath and an excellent shower. There is also an overhead velux window with a blind operated by a remote control.
Eden's House is in a small terrace of 6 cottages in a historic part of Hexham which includes buildings which have a link to the old tannery business.
There is a visitors parking permit allowing you to park immediately behind the cottage. Thank you, Maxine.
Thank you Maxine for providing such a welcoming and cosy cottage.
Clarification on the use of the wheellie bins would be useful. There was clearly a green general waste wheelie bin. Previous users of the cottage appeared to use this for recycling too. It was unclear where the black recycling bin was located.

It is placed very well, close to town centre, not far from bus and train that makes travels to the Wall or even to the North Pennine easy without a car.
The accomodation is perfect for a couple and there is a kindness in the comfort provided.

Very well positioned for exploring Northumberland, Hadrians wall etc . Short walk into Town with plenty on pubs and restaurants . It was very cosy and nicely decorated. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped . Parking permit was a bonus as we was expecting to pay to park locally .
Think the people before us had smoked .

The cottage is very cosy for two people
Although the cottage has everything you need I think the fridge needs updating to include an ice compartment .
I think the tv also needs upgrading to a smart tv .

Super, cosy little cottage in an ideal location perfect for exploring local environment & beyond especially if u love walking, views, & sight-seeing with Hadrian's Wall up the road & its related Roman places like The Sill, Sycamore Gap, Vindolanda, Housesteads & Chesters to visit. Hexham has good restaurants & pleasant to wander about & browse. Corbridge a lovely, historic little town a few miles away, several nice cafes & Grants, a bakery of distinction you will find hard to ignore such is the display & smell of their rolls & sandwiches, pies & pastries & cakes.

It was a lovely little cottage, just perfect for the two of us. All the facilities we needed and more. Great place that was within walking distance of local pubs, restaurants and the Abbey etc. Easy to find. Bed was very comfy too - always important. Also recommendations for food were checked out and I celebrated my birthday at Bouchon Bistrot just up the road - fabulous food!
There was a bit of noise from the pub up the road, but that was to be expected - not really a downside, but did keep us awake a bit one night.
