Local to shops etc, was well equipped with all the necessities, quiet location.
Overlooked by other properties back garden not very private.

The bed was big and comfy, the bathroom was spacious with good shower, the lounge was nicely decorated and comfy sofa, the terrace was ideal with a dog.
There was a lingering damp/sewer smell in the bedroom/bathroom area. Not enough to put me off staying again, just something we noticed. The kitchen could have more equipment, e.g. only 2 of everything (e.g. only 2 bowls), no washing up bowl, metal utensils on non-stick pans, just minimal vs others places we've stayed. The TV was good for streaming, but not for live TV.

Very well equipped apartment on ground floor in quiet street with easy parking. Short walk across park to main shopping streets and Hexham Abbey. Very comfortable beds and good quality linens. Interior decoration creates a warm atmosphere.
