Cypress: Private Bedroom/Bathroom/Office, with Shared Pool, Hot tub

Well appointed, clean, spacious

Fantastic location in North Vancouver, with easy access to Highway 1, the city and the hills. Very peaceful and plenty of places to relax away from other guests. Lots of space in our room / office and the beds were comfy. Instructions to be quiet and to respect other guests' and neighbours' peace were clear and repeated, which was very welcome. This is absolutely not somewhere to stay if you want a party

We booked using a credit card as normal and there was no indication that we could not use that to pay. Nor were debit cards accepted. Instead, the property insisted on paypal (which we do not use) or bank transfer (which we could not set up as we are away from home in England). They also refused to let us cancel once we discovered the problem. In the end we settled on cash, which caused us anxiety in carrying and handing over such a large sum. Please make it clear before booking that cards are not accepted. More cooking utensils would be welcome in the kitchen and it was a bit dusty in the lounge.

Location was perfect. The house is spacious and makes it feel comfortable to share with other famillies. The kitchen has everything you need.

The single bed wasn’t a bed but a metal foldable frame that is not enough for a tall adult. It would make a huge difference to invest and just add a single bed to the room. Also, pool facilities were dirty, glass balustrade covered in moss which was blosking the gorgeous view while seating outside. The outside area needs a lot of work to look ok.
