A perfect stay with a kind host in a clean and cozy place.

Breakfast was good, bacon sausage and eggs, Room and bathroom were clean and large.. two bottles of water was a nice touch

spiral staircase although impressive was awkward, also lighting was poor. had to leave our shoes outside in the cold and damp.

Beautiful property! The owner was very welcoming. We had the master suit, there were a few issues but it was resolved immediately. Breakfast was lovely. Would have stayed longer if we had the time. Beds really comfortable.

Maybe a choice for breakfast, or checking what we would or wouldn’t have liked. It was lovely to come down to it cooked for us though. A little more bathroom care.

There was no TV, and felt the room would have benefited with a desk / workstation and if I was being over critical the walk-in wardrobe room looked a little cluttered and messy.

Not a great stay; won’t be back!

Area and breakfast ok.

Not as advertised. Only a room. No en-suite bathroom; is outside in the corridor. Bed not very comfortable and room and bathroom grubby. Parking in the street and availability was not great. Had to remove shoes and leave them outside the house.

What A Wonderful Experience

The owner was very welcoming. He helped with our luggage. The beds were nice and comfortable. The rainshower shower head in the bathroom was nice and soothing. Breakfast was freshly made with a choice of menu. All in all, it was a great experience.

the service is the best i have had. they are so welcoming and make you feel like you are family. they take care of you like a 5 star hotel. will do anything to make your stay amazing. they do breakfast and laundry and are just amazing kind hearted people. beautiful house, beautiful quiet neighborhood. great price, clean abd bright and beautiful outdoor space, highly recommend.

Nice staff but not very clean and only very short showers!

Room was nicer and more modern than expected. The owner “Island” was responsive to messages and very kind. The area was nice, had free parking on the road opposite (not really accessible by public transport). The checkout is late (12pm!) so that was nice. Coffee available.

Hot water for shower ran cold in only about 10 minutes, there was no warning about this. Water bottles were reused - the seal was broken and they were clearly refilled. Bedsheet hadn’t been tucked in to the bed, the top sheet between the duvet and the mattress was fine but then the actual bed sheet was also loose and we had to make the bed ourselves. Toothbrush holder in bathroom was filthy on the inside. No sanitary trash can in the bathroom. Dirty towel was found shoved into the bathroom cabinet. Soap bar had some strange colourful marks on it. Carpet also had a lot of stains/dirt/marks on it. 1 pillow had a stain on the side.

Meals were not included BUT the hosts were fantastic and treated us to a great Chinese dinner on one night of our stay. They also provided breakfast one morning and snacks during our stay. Sunny and Alan went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Nice, clean and warm basement room and the entire house. 👌 The egg, tea n banana bread for the breakfast was fresh and enough to start the weekend. Parking was available on the driveway. The host was super nice and healful👍
