Easy to find, comfortable place and felt like a home

Instructions beforehand were very clear and the apartment was clean and welcoming. Free WiFi. Nice touch with the sign in the kitchen saying Welcome and my name 👌🏻

Generally comfortable but we had issues

Nice accommodation next to a good restaurant. Very roomy, we enjoyed relaxing in the living room. Comfortable beds.

We couldn't work out how to operate the stove top and the manual wasn't in the drawer and no instructions in the room guide so we could make our breakfast.The towel heater wasn't working. A mirror by a plug somewhere would be a good addition for women to do their hair.

Beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable, spacious apartment in lovely Lochinver. Perfectly positioned with several wonderful eating options next door. Peets restaurant does a mean Cullen Skink! The kitchen facilities are fabulous if you don't wish to partake of the local restaurants. Extremely comfortable beds. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Lovely spacious apartment in a charming village offering a home from home feel.

The apartment was extremely clean and well furnished. Everything was in good order and better than we were expecting. Parking was great. Very handy being next door to a lovely restaurant. Very quiet and homely. Would definitely stay again.

The building is old and the floor boards do creak a lot, so moving at night was tricky in terms of not waking others up! A minor detail in reality and not a deal breaker by any means. The master bedroom is quite small.

Lovely stay in a well appointed flat.

This was a great flat sitting right opposite the harbour. It was very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and linen were great. It is right next to Peets a well known seafood restaurant.

The twin room curtains needed to be more blockout.

Very well equipped apartment near restaurants

Apartment 5 was on the second floor with the key in a lockbox. There was ample allocated parking for each apartment. The apartment was extremely well furnished and the modern kitchen was absolutely lovely and well equipped including a dining table and chairs. There is no meal with this booking but it is literally next door to Peet's which is a very popular eating place. If you intend to dine out in Lochinver, you must book Peet's or Delilah's as both are very busy in the evening. There are also a couple of cafes nearby but these do not serve evening meals.

There are no apartments on the ground floor and the stairs are quite steep. If we were booking again, I would try to book on the first floor.

Wonderful Apartment

My stay at 5 Wheelhouse Apartment was fantastic, thanks to its perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality. The location couldn’t be better—right next door to Peet’s Restaurant, where my husband and I enjoyed delicious meals and genuinely friendly service from the staff. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with everything thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any questions we had, which made the experience seamless. To top it all off, a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us, adding a warm, welcoming touch. We’d highly recommend 5 Wheelhouse Apartment for anyone seeking a convenient and delightful stay!

I was surprised to find that the washing machine was not a combo dryer as well, but there was a drying rack in one of the bedrooms that we made use of which solved our drying problem.

Nice flat, decent spec, but just not big enough for 4 adults. We only stayed 1 night so managed.

Space in the bedrooms was a challenge. No where to keep suitcase and wardrobes were very small. No mirrors in the bedroom. No dishwasher tablets

Amazing stay, really nice flat, cannot complain in anyways, all was provided for and overall will stay here again.

Nothing with the flat it was lovely, restaurants in the area are ridiculously expensive as a monopoly on the area I suppose.

Apartments were clean and tidy. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was easy and accessible.

The location is tucked away at the harbour, there's Peet's Restaurant next door and one more down the road called Delilah's (booking advised) and a convenience store - not much else going on.

Stunning apartment in downtown Lochinver

Ease of entry and everything. Centrally located so handy for port and walking through the woods or the 200m into the village and the excellent Delilah's. Locals made me very welcome and I'll definitely be back.

A home away from home

The host/owner is a great communicator (easy to talk to, prompt response, etc.) that we had no issue arriving and picking up the key. The property is next a restaurant, the parking was well labeled, and the room was spotless and well furnished. It was like a home away from home and we were very comfortable. We fixed a simple dinner, did some laundry and went to bed. Only problem was that we were able to stay only for one night. Should have been much longer!

It was very clean and well equipped with lots of extra thoughtful touches.

Not a particularly welcoming entrance to the building though we could see effort had been made to improve it. It took a while to heat up on what had been quite a bitter day.

I liked getting a little bottle of wine. And I was actually very grateful for the feminine products bc I needed them unexpectedly. Also, happy that they had washcloths!

Lovely little flat

The flat was clean, comfortable and well presented in a peaceful and beautiful location. The restaurant next door was great and there was a shop a few minutes walk away. The host was really friendly with great communication and I would recommend this place.

Probably not an issue for most people but there were a lot of reed diffusers dotted around and the scent was overpowering - we ended up putting them inside of the cupboards for the duration of our stay.
