Superb location very close to Lochinver…if the weather had been better we could have walked to restaurants and shops.

We had a wonderful stay in a special part of Scotland and felt grateful for the support from the staff as we had a trick

Friendly owners , proximity to beach walks and village centre. Well equipped and cosy furnishing.

Only gripe was sofa bed wasn’t super comfortable as a double bed. Better when our son slept on it and we took the bed so easily remedied !

Very comfortable studio flat in a great location

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped accommodation with a great view from the window and garden. Lochinver is an attractive village with shops, cafes and restaurants and the scenery all around is fantastic. Mountains, beaches and wildlife.

Excellent and exceeded our expectations

Beautiful views from the elevated position of the studio. We felt very relaxed and comfortable here. Really clean, modern studio and it had everything we needed and more. Great location with a short walk into the village. We loved hiking in the stunning area and there are many wonderful beaches too. We saw plenty of deer around too.

A good central location for NC500.

Good location on a hill overlooking Lochinver. It was comfortable, well equipped and furnished and very quiet. Lochinver’s surrounds offer great walking opportunities with magnificent scenery.

Although the property was close to Lochinver we were unable to walk into town because of the impossibly steep driveway to the house.

Stunning Self-Catering Studio in Lochinver

Absolutely wonderful, immaculate, modern, ground-level studio - spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully-appointed, well equipped & splendidly situated on a hill with a magnificent view over-looking the picturesque Lochinver village & small harbour. Fronting the studio is a large outdoor area with chairs & 2 small tables to enhance enjoying the view on a fine day. Website photos & description are accurate. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances + an abundance of quality crockery, cookware, cutlery & cooking utensils. Equally, the bathroom is very modern, as too the bedroom with a very comfortable bed & plentiful cupboard / wardrobe space. The studio has excellent high-speed wifi reception - all in all there was nothing we needed that wasn’t already provided. Studio access is a self-check-in arrangement - unfortunately we didn’t meet our host Rhona, however she is a very responsive & helpful host & replied promptly to my few queries. Check-in was easy thanks to the clear instructions received prior to arrival. My husband & I can HIGHLY recommend ‘Suil Na Mara Studio’ – it certainly added to the wonderful enjoyment of our stay in Lochinver (end-June).

How spacious and how well equipped it was . Even down to washing tablets and toiletries! There was pots and pans and even a tin foil and a lunch box ! TV already has guest Netflix . The studio was perfect . But the view from the terrace was my absolute favourite thing !

Stunning location, beautiful apartment.

The apartment is spotless and the facilities first class. It is located just above Lochinver so has stunning views across the bay and a fabulous patio seating on which to enjoy it. The private parking means unpacking is easy. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area and climbing or walking up the mountains. The a washing machine is a real bonus given the unpredictable weather of Scotland. A real home from home which I highly recommend. As a couple we had plenty of room to relax in.

Great week stay

Lovely, comfortable accommodation. The property has absolutely everything you can think of when you are staying in a self catering accommodation. Lots of storage and everything very modern. Bed really comfortable and the sofa bed was great for my 12yo daughter, could easily fit 2 adults. The location is just a small walk into the village and there’s so much to do on your doorstep. 10/10

Suil na Mara - much more than a Studio

The elevated location of the studio provides a great view over the bay and village of Lochinver and is within walking distance of all local amenities. The studio itself is more a one bed apartment than studio. It is very well equipped and all fixtures, fittings and furnishings are new and of a good quality. The studio was immaculately clean on arrival and the owners provided operating instructions for all the appliances. They live in the adjoining house and are on hand if you need them. We would have no hesitation about returning to Suil Na Mara. It is in a great location for exploring Assynt with lots of lovely places to visit and amazing scenic walks of all levels. The Studio has everything you need for a first class self catering holiday and would highly recommend it to others.

Ideal holiday accommodation for two adults.

This is a tastefully furnished and decorated studio flat with splendid views over the village and harbour to the hills beyond. All the fittings and utensils you could wish for are provided. There is a patio area with seating where you can take in the fresh air and the scenery.

Lovely location overlooking Lochinver- looking our of the window to see deer in the garden was special- even if they eat the owner's plants! Appreciated having a dishwasher.Had brought own tea&coffee so didn't use the canisters supplied.
