Excellent accommodation, highly recommended

We had a lovely one-night stay at this self-catering accommodation. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The bed was comfortable, and the little extra touches made it feel welcoming and homely. Communication from the host was excellent throughout. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to others.

Delightful stay in a comfy and well appointed apartment.

This property was delightful, comfy and well appointed. One of my daughters commented that you could tell it had had a woman's touch and we were all grateful for those little added extras.

We were a bit dubious when we first saw the outside and the entryway. Just as well you can't tell a book by it's cover!

It had an excellent view of the small town harbor from the kitchen window! It was very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. They even had salt and pepper and coffee and tea with cookies! The gist was very communicative. Everyone in our party was so impressed!! It’s up four flights of stairs so only book if you are able to carry your luggage etc up to it. But it was so worth the few steps. It was a perfect place to stop along the 500. There is a cute restaurant right next door but we had already brought our dinner to cook. The neighbor said it was great food though. They had shampoo and conditioner which was a bonus. Truly wonderful hosts. Best stay yet!!

This flat has amazing views and is perfect self-catering accommodation for couples or small families

We loved this roomy apartment - the views both sides were stunning. There was everything we needed to cater for ourselves and enjoy some peace and quiet after a long journey. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We'd like to apologise for the mug handle which broke off - so sorry about that! Thanks for letting us stay in this amazing place - the best accommodation in our trip around the NC 500!

Lovely and fun

The property was excellent, clean, well-organized, and easy to find. I was amazed when I saw my name on the board. A great idea. We had a great time with the kids cooking, playing board games PlayStation, and watching TV and we didn't bother using our phones or iPads. Thank you, Heather, for the bottle of wine but I dont drink I highly recommend it, and if I'm ever back in town again, this is my place.

1)Kids room has no heating and the portable heater in the property does not work or may be we don’t know how it works and the weather was not bad 2)no hot water and we couldn’t be bothered to call Heather as we arrived late and we managed with the shower electric water Will this issues stop me from coming back i would say no

Warm and cosy

The property was warm and cosy, allowed us to slow down for a day and relax.

Unfortunately we struggled in the kitchen the first day as the toaster didn’t work and the grill handle couldn’t be found. I emailed and within hours a replacement toaster arrived outside the apartment when we arrived back with a grill handle. We had also ran out of toilet paper and couldn’t find any more in the apartment. They had supplied boxes of tissues in the bedrooms which we used instead when needed for the final morning.

Wee gem, great value. Definitely recommending to friends.

I never met the owner however they made us feel very welcome with lovely little welcome plaques with our names on. A nice bottle of wine was waiting for me too which was a fantastic gesture. Perfect for families as all entertainment is provided with Dvds and a games console. View out kitchen window was lovely. Locals in the wayfarers bar next door were very welcoming too. Great wee place and accommodation . Fantastic tea and coffee tray which is always high on my priorities.

One of the request of the owners is to wash our dishes which I'm perfectly happy with however, an eye needs cast over them before new people stay. Had to rewash some dishes before use. The place is fantastic and I would definitely return and recommend however this small detail makes a tiny dent on a lovely lovely place

Well appointed apartment, in a utilitarian block. The beds were very comfortable as was the lounge and the location was quiet. A good spot for an overnight stay, though there isnt much in the way of local amenities.

Whilst there was nothing wrong with the apartment it was far more expensive than similar apartments, though this is probably more to do with Booking.com's algorithms as there wasnt much choice in the area.
