The location was absolutely magnificent through the day and at night. Through the day the balcony and hot tub offered panoramic views of the hills and Loch. Whereas at night the sky opened up and the stars in the sky were just amazing to see. Was the perfect place to celebrate our engagement! The team also set up a little surprise for my Fiancé with banners, balloons, rose petals and chocolates! Could not have asked for anything more!

Cute little place. Good location to the small town. Tucked out of the way so very private.

The shower tray filled up when showering .. obviously has before because floor lifting and smells mouldy in there. Shower tiles need a good clean. We found the tv controls so complicated and neither seemed to work. Kitchen well equipped but no strainer. Glasses not clean. Hot tub is lovely but unusable due to midges. Perhaps host could provide some kind of repellant. Pillows too soft. Perhaps do mixture of firm and soft. Patio door do not lock. Not even a key in them.

Absolutely amazing stay

Absolutely loved everything about it … the location was perfect. Lovely and clean. Lovely hosts. It had everything we could have possibly have wanted or needed. To cap it all, relaxing in the hot tub with a bottle of bubbly was the icing on the cake.

A little slice of heaven! Such a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. The view from the hot tub is simply amazing. Very cosy and a super comfy bed. Would definitely recommend.

There were a few little basics missing on arrival that would have made a big difference - e.g. milk for the tea, a washing up cloth & a chopping board. We could not get the patio doors to lock, not sure if it was broken or just very, very stiff.

Beautiful accommodation set in a lovely PRIVATE GARDEN Washing machine Hot tub Private court yard

No airier to put your washing on to dry No iron or ironing board No serving bowls (we made a meal and had nothing to serve it in we had to use pans as serving bowls) Only one wooden chopping board not ideal for cutting both meat and vegetables on the same board

Exceptional

This place is called the hideaway for a reason, it's so private and spacious. The views from the hot tub were amazing, and the location was beautifully surrounded by mountains and water. The cabin had everything you need and more. Will hopefully be back again! Two days was not enough. Thank you for having us, and our dog😀. Would recommend this to anybody looking for a break.

Excellent Hogmanay stay!

Our second visit to the Hideaway, this time for Hogmanay. The cabin was cosy, clean and wonderfully quiet. The hot tub is great fun with views over Lochinver. Lots of great walks nearby and beautiful Scottish scenery.

Everything about this wee place was superb. Comfortable, quiet, well finished, fully serviced, homely!! Couldnt have asked for better... After a day on the motorcycle covering 200 plus miles on the NC500 tour this exceeded my expectations.. an added bonus was the hot tub.. all pre heated and ready to go to enjoy.!!! 🙂👍
