About this villa rental
Villa Pietra (stone in Italian) takes its name from an ancient local stone wall that in those old times was used a boundary between properties. A nice country road, with cypresses on the side, leads to the Villa on two floors with the local typical roof. A gorgeous garden is at the centre of the country fields, olive and wine yards. The swimming pool (10×5 mt – 33×16 ft) has a nice gazebo, chairs and sunbeds to enjoy the warm summer days.
Ground Floor
As shown in the pictures, there is a generous sized kitchen, with a special character: antique furniture mixed with all the modern comforts such as fridge, freezer, cooking stove, oven dishwasher. Two big french windows lead to the garden.
On the side a small bathroom and utility room with washing machine and all you need for ironing.
The kitchen has the original 1930 stile floor while all the other rooms have the local terracotta floor.
The dining room Is really elegant, its main feature is a big fireplace which can also be used a wood cooking oven. Two french windows lead to the veranda is fully equipped to take advantage of the dining on open air.
The living room is a very cosy place, with a big fireplace, two big book shelves on the side of it, a writing desk, a very comfortable 3 seats sofa and two art deco sofa chairs add to the comfort and charm of this ambient.
The ground floor is full of light and each room has direct access to the garden.
First Floor
On the first floor you will find two double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each one has its own en-suite with shower, sink, WC and bidet.
All rooms in the house are furnished with original antique pieces from the late 800, early 900, typical of the Umbria region. Each room has big windows, including the en-suites, opening to a stunning view on the Umbria landscape.
