Riad 2 chambres & Petit Déjeuner - Wifi - Top Location Médina

Amazing stay overall. The location was excellent, just a short walk down the alley and we were right at the entrance to the Medina and souk. Everything was within about a 20 minute walk, which suited us perfectly as we enjoy walking. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast each morning was freshly prepared and presented nicely by a lovely lady who also tidied the apartment daily, which we really appreciated. Although we did not speak much French, we were still able to communicate where needed, and she was always very polite, accommodating, and understanding. She made amazing breakfasts every morning and we managed to converse when we could. The host was very helpful, organising airport transfers and a desert trip for us, all efficiently and at a reasonable price. We also felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. A special mention to the small café at the end of the alley, the staff were incredibly kind and even returned something we lost.

The only issue was that we stayed from Friday to Tuesday and had the same towels for the entire stay, but maybe if we’d requested a new towel this may have been granted.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, riesengroß, sehr gut ausgestattet und das Design ist sehr ansprechend. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön eingerichtet und geräumig. Das größere und das kleinere Bad sind ebenfalls sehr schön. Auch die Dachterrasse ist ein nettes Extra. Die Lage hat große Vorteile: die Unterkunft ist fast (!) direkt mit dem Auto erreichbar - nur wenige Schritte (100 Meter) von einem zentralen Platz (mit Taxistand) durch ein gut beleuchtetes ruhiges Gässchen. Jamaa el Fna fußläufig in 20-25 Minuten erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Supermarkt "BIM" (Empfehlung) ganz in der Nähe. Kostenloser WIFI-Router hat super funktioniert. Der Hausbetreuer und die Dame, die das Frühstück zubereitete, waren sehr freundlich und enorm hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und einzigartig, durch das persönliche Service vor Ort. Selten wurden wir so nett und persönlich empfangen und auch wieder verabschiedet! Der Flughafentransfer war von der Unterkunft top organisiert und auch von der Qualität her spitze. Insgesamt echt tolle und sehr herzliche Gastgeber!

Die Betten sind sehr fest und ein paar Kleinigkeiten würden größere Aufmerksamkeit/Wartung durch die Haustechnik benötigen bzw. sind nicht ganz glücklich gelöst (z. B. kaputter Safe und Lichtschalter, klemmende Schranktüre, lose (Antennen?)kabel aus der Wand, Problem mit Luftfeuchtigkeit (Jahreszeit Februar), ...). Frühstück ist mit ca. 8:30-9:00 Uhr relativ spät. Muss man einplanen oder sicherheitshalber im Vorfeld abklären, ob man damit zurechtkommt. Die Unterkunft wird als Riad angeboten, ist aber streng genommen "nur" ein (sehr schönes und wirklich riesengroßes) "Dhar".

Es la segunda vez que me alojo aquí, me gusta la ubicación y la independencia que te da que el alojamiento no se comparta.

La cama es un poco dura y las almohadas no son nada cómodas

I have stayed in Marrakech before, but always in a hotel-type Riad. With this stay it was lovely to have more than just a room to come back to and relax. Toriya came every morning to make us a wonderful breakfast and she was so accommodating to our varying schedule or simple requests (like less pastries and more of her delicious homemade msemmen). Location wise it is close enough to make it very convenient for tour meet-ups and taxi access, but far enough away to avoid the street noise. I would stay again on future visits to Marrakech and highly recommend to fellow travelers.
