About this cottage rental
Fraise, exposed beams and stonework: ideal for three generations. Ground floor for reduced mobility: living room, adjoining kitchen, bedroom (140 cm double bed, accessible shower room). Private terrace (east). Upstairs: main bedroom (160 cm double bed, shower room), a bedroom with two 90 cm beds, bathroom. Bed linen and towels included. On the estate, shared with the other gîtes: heated, sheltered swimming pool (mid-March to mid-November, or on request), play area, farm animals. Dinan 10 min.
La Lohuas is an old farmhouse with character, typical of the region. It is built of stone, wood and slate. Bathed in sunlight, its charm is enhanced.
The six gîtes open onto a courtyard with a fish pond.
Each of them has a terrace where you can enjoy the sunshine and birdsong.
The various outdoor areas allow you to relax and offer your children something to play with, even during the occasional rainfall, thanks to the covered play area.
The secure, covered and heated swimming pool with waterfall and sunbathing area is very popular with everyone.
It is a great place to meet other families and your children will enjoy making new friends.
We will be happy to show you the surrounding area and tell you about the various walks you can do as well as the tourist and family activities in the region.
Situated in a quiet area, close to the main road, you can easily reach the medieval town of Dinan (10 min), Saint-Malo (35 min), Dinard (30 min), and the Mont-Saint-Michel (50 min).
You will benefit from the beaches (30 min) and all the leisure activities offered by the sea and the seaside towns while staying in a peaceful and spacious place. You will avoid the high traffic and its nightly nuisances.
All the necessary shops and two supermarkets with drive services are located 5 minutes away.
A small grocery shop with local products is available.
In high season, a bakery service completes the services provided.
Parking is available on site.
Many facilities for small children are available on request.

We loved every aspect of our stay at the gîte.
Kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need, BBQ also available.
Kids will enjoy feeding the chickens and guinea pig, the vast array of play equipment (fantastic trampoline, pingpong, table football, balance bikes, wendy house, swings and more), and the swimming pool.
Owners have invested in technology such as connected-TV and fast internet (considering the rural location)

Space, peaceful and ideal for family with young children

We enjoyed the swimming pool - having the cover was great and meant we could swim even on cooler days. The children loved the play barn. Our gite was well appointed with everything we needed and beds were comfortable. The location was great - we loved Dinan as a picturesque and very interesting historic town, and also enjoyed exploring the coastline.
