The situation half up and half down the hill between the town and the port. Wonderfully ancient but modern facilities. Great for bilkes with own shed with power.

One of the bedrooms has a single and bunk beds and one is the main room sofa. If you are three couples, contact Gaelle and there are potentially 3 doubles at some additional cost.

The property was full of character, well appointed and nicely decorated. There was everything we needed and it was of a very good standard. It was useful to have some basic supplies already there. The little garden was nice to sit in, even if rather overgrown. Despite the parking problems we enjoyed being in the old medieval part of Dinan.

When booking, the property details indicated there was parking nearby. This was not the case and we had to walk 10-15 minutes to find parking. This was especially problematic when taking our suitcases to the car in the pouring rain when leaving! (Having driven down the very steep hill twice on arrival when looking for parking and the brakes burning, we didn't want to drive to outside the property to load our luggage when leaving). The property location on a very steep hill with no parking close by should be specified in the details as this would be a major problem for people with mobility issues. A few minor points:- When in the main bedroom on the ground floor there is a constant stream of people walking right outside the window in the daytime requiring the curtains to be shut for privacy. The property had a musty smell so better airing should be considered. The double duvet could do with replacing as stained. The dishwasher door is very stiff and noisy and requires oiling!
