The location of this apartment is perfect, with a view of the castle from the windows. It was an easy walk into town and what a town it is!
The parking situation could have been better explained. You can park for free overnight in the nearby car parks in the Place Duguesclin.
Completely free parking is available though in Parking Broussais (approx a 10 min walk away) and also in the rather grand Place René Pleven and neighbouring Jean Monnet car park (approx a 20 min walk away).

The apartment was beautifully appointed with all amenities. Communication about keys and responses to questions by the host were impeccable. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. The view from the windows and the location were fantastic - right in the center of town with parking on Place du Guesclin just a short walk away and reasonably priced for overnight parking.
The location of the separate WC for bedroom 1 is off the living/dining/kitchen area and doesn't have an extractor fan or wash basin. It was unclear to us why the toilet was in the living room closet and the washer/dryer was in the bathroom - we could only assume it must be the plumbing in the old building.

Well appointed with good quality appliances, linen and furniture. The location is handy to the old town and easy to get in and out. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Venessa made sure to meet us with the keys and even adjusted the meeting time as we were running late. She was generous in explaining details about the apartment and surrounding area, and even recommended places to eat and things to do. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and lovely beds and super clean bathrooms as well- fantastic!
