The lodge was in a perfect location to everywhere we wanted to go.After our day out it was lovely to come back and sit out on the enclosed decking with our dogs and know they were safe.
Nothing we didn’t like about the lodge for us it was perfect.

The lodge was very well appointed and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. The arrangements we made with our host went smoothly both for arrival and departure. The site was very well kept and generally quiet. We had a six year old grandson with us and he enjoyed his stay too.
There was nothing to not like really although we didn't try the on-site restaurant as it was very busy and we were looking to have a quieter time in the evenings.
The entrance to the site is directly off the A1. The road is very busy most of the day and you need to have your wits about you when leaving the site. Getting back onto the site is much easier as there is a filter lane if you are turning right.
