Great location for walking the Kumano Kodo. A nice dip into a traditional Japanese Ryokan but a little bit sterile in atmosphere.
Shared bathrooms and a really hot toilet room. Felt bad not to be able to eat all the food lovingly created.

This is a modern guest house. It was clean and confortable. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely excellent (Japanese style breakfast). The owners and staff were really friendly. I enjoyed the onsen.
The tatamis in the room are fake (modern?) The motion sensor on the commun sink drove me crazy while trying to fill up my water bottle (not really a problem, probably just me being a moron..)
