The environment is beautiful. The river is 100m far but the tenant is what makes that place special. I feel very fortunate to get there and meet that place. We were talking for more than 1h and she cooked really homemade Japanese food which was really yummy. If I walk The kumano kodo again, I'll stay there for sure.

This accommodation has an amazing location—just 200 meters from the start of the Daimon-zaka trail, which leads you right up to the spectacular Nachi Falls and Nachisan Seiganto-ji Temple. (Bus stop is right in front of the door) The host who received us was incredibly thoughtful. Since there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. A quick tip for future guests: it's best to arrive prepared with your own food and water, especially if you are checking in late! As for the house itself, it is spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including excellent air conditioning in every room and a great kitchen. In the evening all you hear is nature! Highly recommended for anyone hiking the area!
