釜炒り茶の宿陽だまりTraditional Japanese house near Kumano Kodo and Nachi Falls with parking bikes garden and onsite tea house

Very comfortable, very clean, so spacious, and a beautiful garden. It was amazing that we could use bikes to get into town. It has all the facilities we could ever need, including free use of the washing machine and dryer which was just what we needed after the Kumano Kodo. Naoki and Miki were so unbelievably helpful and friendly, they helped us send our luggage and received it before our stay, they gave us the best restarting recommendations, showed us how to use the washing machine and made delicious iced tea for us to drink. We felt so warmly welcomed we never wanted to leave!

Besides the fact that the property is 3 mins walk to nacho station , is clean, light , comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable, the main thing is how wonderful the hosts are . They couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy. Also for 800 yen they serve a lovely breakfast with home grown tea. It is ideally places for the Kumano Kodo directly on the bus route between Kii Katsura and the waterfall / temples . We will come back here for sure when we next walk the trek. We cannot recommend this gem highly enough

The hosts were amazing. Communication was prompt and polite. The facilities were beautiful and had a calmness about them. The bikes were a bonus.

Everything about this guesthouse is so special and it was our favourite place in Japan! Naoki-san and Miki-san were such generous and engaging hosts, the house was beautiful and close to Nachi train station, a konbini and wonderful attractions in Kii-Katsura! The house is equipped with comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, kitchen facilities and lots of unique touches. You can also use the free bicycles to get around, and they kindly dropped us off at the start of our Kumano Kodo hiking spot! We loved seeing the adjoining teahouse for breakfast and meeting Chachamaru, their cute shiba inu! Loved this place, highly recommend!
