Lovely little house, really good value

We had trouble using the key safe - never seen one that design before. We thought a few extra touches would be helpful for guests - the symbols on the oven control have worn off, not sure if that could be remedied but it makes it difficult to use it. A family size dining table and coat rack by the front door would be useful. Also we were not aware when we booked that the attic bedroom is only accessible from the second bedroom so we changed our planned sleeping arrangements, not a big deal but would have been good to know in advance.

The property is beautiful, very well maintained and has everything you could want for a very comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of extra duvets and pillows etc. We were also greeted with complimentary bread and milk and water all ready for our stay , tea coffee facilities and even a bottle of wine! Much more than we could have expected for a stay to make it very comfortable and cosy. Also Netflix and prime already installed and ready to watch on the TV.

Spacious, comfortable family home

Spacious, ideal for our family with 2 teenagers and a dog. Great location as a base for exploring Saddleworth. Private parking was a bonus given its village centre location.

Be mindful the house is in the middle of the village, and road noise is inevitable.

Very nice stay in great location

Great location for us. Right on a busy through road and opposite a noisy pub ( might just have been due to being Easter bank hol) but didn't bother us as we know the location so knew what to expect. Co op, chippy, cafes and pubs within a few steps. Welcome use of washing machine and tumble drier. House nice and modern. Outside space could do with a tidy and a jet wash, very slippy when wet, good private park space.

Third bedroom right in the loft accessed through second bedroom not ideal as teenage son had to go through teenage daughters room to get in and out. There's a slightly pointless work room with a desk downstairs which would work perfectly as the third bedroom instead.

A central base.

A very cosy, well-equipped house with nice Christmas touches. Good communication, easy to find, and has off-street parking.

The front bedroom was noisy being over the main street and opposite a pub. The roof room was cold overnight when the heating went off. Manoeuvring the car out of the parking area was tricky because it is a tight space.

The house was huge - room after room after room - very well equipped with everything you would need and a very generous welcome basket

The road noise was a lot and the people coming out of the pub on a Friday night are a little rowdy and noisy

Perfection almost

The house had almost everything you needed too make it a home from home

There our no locks on any off the bathroom doors and having young grandkids with us it was embarrassing when they walked in on me and my partner when showering and the other thing was the noise from the main road which only stopped at 1 am till 4 am but if you lived with this in your own home the place would be perfect

Fantastic location right on the main street. With the shops, cafe, restaurants and pubs right on the doorstep. Very nicely decorated with modern twists and period features
