Peninsula Bay/Beach Resort

After a very stressful checkin , we arrived at the Peninsula Beach at 1am to find out there was no room booked for us , 2 adults and 2 teenagers!!! The reception staff at the Peninsula beach was not atall helpful but spoke to the sister hotel Peninsula Bay and managed to accommodate us for one night and they would sort it out in the morning. In the morning we spoke with guest services and we were moved to the two bedroom room in the peninsula bay for a further 14 nights. The rest of our stay was really good , the apartment was huge , two large bedrooms with bathrooms , great big living area and balcony with views to die for. The hotel couldn’t do enough for us , 4 pools , nice restaurants and a great sports bar with pool table. The resort puts on a shuttle to the peninsula beach resort or it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants and bars of Tanjung Benoa. We loved the place and apart from the checkin experience would recommend the Peninsula Bay resort 😊

I went with my husband and my two children under age 4. I needed something clean, safe, beautiful, easy, spacious and entertaining. This hit everything on the head. Staff at resort was excellent, food was soooooo good and at a very affordable price. Pools were endless and in perfect condition at all times. The resort has at least one daily activity, maybe painting for kids, a BBQ on the beach, trivia, Sunday night roast, movie night in the sand. We stayed three weeks and would absolutely do it again. Con- when we arrived my baby had been suffering a terrible fever and was quite sick. I wanted to immediately get him ti a cool bath and a rest after our travels. I was unable to do this for about 5 hours. We booked the accommodations shown in the photos… a family room with multiple rooms, beds, bathtubs, living space and kitchen. However the host chose to just book to separate single rooms which were not ever next ti each other. We couldn’t leave our toddlers across the resort in some other hotel room!?!? Also no bathtub and none of the other things pictured. I was very upset and my poor baby laid on the floor of reception crying for two or three hours. It was absolutely horrible and I was terribly desperate. The resort would not help us get the right accommodation and lied and said nothing else was available. But that wasn’t true it was because Gina chose two cheap rooms instead of the one featured in the add. Finally after messaging Gina over and over she finally fixed it.
