Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay at The Grand Bali Nusa Dua

We had a lovely stay at The Grand Bali Nusa Dua. The hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The shuttle service to the private beach area was very convenient, and the beach itself was clean and beautiful. The location is great—quiet and calm, yet still close to shopping areas and attractions in Nusa Dua. Overall, The Grand Bali Nusa Dua provides excellent value for money and genuine Balinese hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Breakfast nice ( a bit monotonous for 7 days )Beach is not very clean , shuttle facility is very helpful , NYE part -fantastic !

our rooms were cleaned later in the afternoon , so often we had to refuse it . Beach is not cleaned from plastic , but we could walk to the nearest big resorts beaches that are much better

Great family stay!

The staff are amazing. Very accomodating, helpful and engaging. No request was too much and we appreciated the service. The pool area is great - never very busy and nice and clean always. Great views etc. The cost of the meals in the in-house restaurant very affordable for the area and we enjoyed a lot of meals there out of convenience & room service when our girls became unwell and needed a few days in the room. Location was great for local Nusa Dua beaches - the strip of nearby restaurants etc . Price wise this place was great for the area for sure also.

It is a little dated in the hall areas and finishing in the room but we always weigh up comparative and understand for the area a lot of places charge a lot more so it’s going to mean it’s not as modern as some others but rooms are a great size - bathroom is massive and our pool view was lovely

Affordable luxury

This is an old style resort hotel with huge rooms, a decent pool and extensive breakfast menu. We are budget travellers and for us, at $AUD138 per night, it was a very worthwhile treat. On the street you can access a range of convenience stores, laundry, massage etc at reasonable prices. There are some very good warungs but for us the traffic noise on the street made eating there a lot less enjoyable. The pizza place across the road was surprisingly good. We didn't use the free bus service to the beach. The hotel's exclusive beach area is at the northern end of a lovely walking promenade that takes you south past all of the really expensive resorts. All in all we really enjoyed our two night stay as a luxurious respite after two weeks on the road.

You cannot hear the street noise from the hotel. However, if you want to access the local warungs it becomes a real problem.

Nice relaxing stay at a reasonable price

Nice location close to main shopping road , free shuttle to the beach and Bali Collective , rooms are large and comfortable . NYE party was very good!

A bit uncomfortable that room was only cleaned around 4pm or later , so sometimes we gust had to go without service. All bedding and towels feel a bit washed out .

Amazing stay with Balinese vibes

The receptionist was accomodating when I requested for a lower level room. Enjoyed the greens at the property with lots of plants and vines next to the ground level room we occupied. Loved the size of the room. Pool was great well maintained. Shuttle service to the private beach was great Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. We enjoyed it

Coffee machine was empty when I tried latte on one occasion. Would be good if staff can check regularly specially during peak times. Would have been festive if carols was organised on the Christmas Eve as a gesture to all guests who would have loved to join in .

Beautiful and quiet hotel

They have a big space room, clean and comfort. They have their own territory in nusa dua beach and you can go there by by shuttle. The pool is nice and kids friendly. Not so many guests in the hotel so it's calm and quiet. Breakfast also is good! Very nice!

A very pleasant get away.

Enormous rooms with very comfortable beds. Bath and shower separate. Friendly and helpful staff.

It enough space around the pool for the amount of guests. Fallen leaves and rubbish not cleared often enough. Expensive food and drink compared to the surrounding areas.

Absolutely amazing, 10/10

Amazing facilities. The best feature of this hotel was the staff. They were friendly, helpful, professional and the pinnacle of customer service. We were upgraded to a private villa, and when we required a late check out the staff bent over backwards to accomodate us. We will be returning.

Disappointment in paradise

Swimming pool is awesome. Breakfast is fantastic. Location is super close to Gregor beach.

Last year they were so helpful when I had to change my itinerary but this year they wouldn’t refund based on pro-rate when I had to check out early. I had a small bill at the restaurant and they wouldn’t discount that either as a way to balance the sheet. It seems the owners have gotten more inflexible (greedy?) re the fees. This was my 2nd time coming here and due to how they left me feeling at the end, I do not plan to return a 3rd time (which otherwise I absolutely would have). Place the client’s needs first and reap the rewards. Or don’t and suffer the consequences.

Great stay, perfect service and good breakfast

So first, we got and we were grateful to have a free upgrade to the garden and pool view both!!! Service was amazing, my wife requested baking soda at am in the morning, the reaction was immediate. Breakfast was great, plenty of the food options. Because of early departure, we requested lunch boxes, which were very delicious and on time. Swimming pools are wonderful! (all of them!) There is scheduled time for the shuttle to go to the beach club and back

The beach- impossible to swim. No depth, no comfortable sand ground. Even though there is a shuttle, still the beach was very disappointing.

We experienced luxury for a lower price

I informed them that it’s our first wedding anniversary and they came thru! They upgraded our room and gave us a lovely surprise in the room. 💖 Also… Big room, big bathroom, comfortable bed, good breakfast, very clean place. Many shops and spas near the area. Although not beachfront, they offer shuttle service to the beach every 2 hours. Very helpful staff.

The Grand Bali Nusa Dua is an elegant, comfortable Balinese hotel that provides exceptional service.

The staff was excellent: always friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice: two large pools, plenty of lounge chairs, trees for shade. The interior design is beautiful, spacious. The lobby is open with comfortable seating, pool table. We enjoyed the private beach bar every day.

The television in our room was not a smart TV, so no streaming - only bad cable. No elevators. The staff carried our luggage up and down. Not a big problem.

Perfect location for us, walking distance to main shopping and restaurants. Laundry, massage and convenience stores plus local restaurants right at front door. Excellent staff and service was beyond and above at the resort. Shuttle bus service to private beach area which was just so beautiful with a main shopping centre and local shopping and restaurants available. Resort spa, kids club and pool table were all important to our family during our stay. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful suite with private court yard and spa it was amazing! Fresh and exceptional breakfast and food served during our stay.

The pool area furniture was uncomfortable could benefit with some cushions on seats and sun lounges
