Ultimate comfort in the mountains!

All the details were so well thought through. Beds were very comfortable and not squeaky, the heater wasn’t noisy and didn’t beep when you changed the temperature. Everything was super clean. Towels were soft. Balcony had comfy chairs and was also super clean. There is a restaurant right next door. There were blackout curtains that actually kept the room dark. I could have easily stayed there longer.

The Amador Hotel is perfect for the area. It is a great deal for the level of comfort and cleanliness. Nicely updated rooms with all necessary amenities. Very friendly, attentive staff and great restaurant next door.

Luxury & Ease for a comfortable stay surrounded by beautiful Natures views!

I chose to stay here for New Years Eve, next to Plate 88 Resturant & Grill who booked KookShifters to ring in the New Year. This stay was perfect to be able to walk back & fourth to. The Room was spacious, spot on CLEAN, very nicely laid out..bed area & lounge chair separate from Kitchenette style room with open closet. Bathroom well organized & door for privacy. The beautiful catheridal style wood ceiling and beautiful hardwood floors lead to the sliding glass door & spacious deck with the most gorgeous view of the Pine Trees, a very green meadow & Pool area :) Both the checkin staff were graciously friendly, good parking area & very nicely kept up both inside & out!

We stayed in Room 104 for one night. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The front door frame was loose, and the back patio sliding glass door was difficult to lock, which raised safety concerns. The most problematic issue was the metal bed frame. It extended beyond the mattress and caused multiple injuries to my feet and toes, leaving bruises. This design flaw significantly impacted our comfort and safety during the stay. There were also minor cosmetic issues, such as peeling paint on the doors, but these were negligible compared to the hazard posed by the bed frame. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I hope the management addresses these concerns promptly.

Calm and truly relaxing.

I loved how quiet it was and the view from my room of a lovely little meadow that had a patch of blackberries growing made it very quaint and homey for me.

I was satisfied with the way it was. I just enjoyed the quiet calmness it provided for the night.

It was hard to open the slide door to patio.... Also the screen came off Tracy but easily went back on.

Good stay

It has a EV charger! I was amazed in the middle of no where. The restaurant on site was super cute. We just ordered appetizers and those were great, plates were all cleaned. It was a great resting spot. I was a little nervous at the beginning because it’s out of no where, you never know what can happen. Overall good stay.

I didn’t like that the shower window was along the walkway. That felt a little creepy. So I just put a towel there.

Worst hotel experience ever — dirty, noisy, no service, and I would never stay here again.

There was absolutely nothing I liked about the Amador Hotel in Amador, California.

I had a terrible stay at the Amador Hotel in Amador, California. The floors were so filthy that after getting out of the shower, my feet turned black. There were loud pool parties at night with dogs actually in the swimming pool, making it impossible to relax. The basics weren’t provided — no clean towels (I asked and never received any), no internet anywhere in the building, and the TV barely worked. There was no one at the front desk to help with anything. On top of that, the entire place smelled of marijuana and cigarette smoke, and the fire alarm kept going off repeatedly with no way to shut it off. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I ordered a suite room 700 ft.² overlooking the pool with a king size bed but did not get that room. They said it’s all booking.com’s fault I showed them that I ordered the suite and it cost me a little more money but they said that I would have to pay more to get that suite room that booking.com. It’s their fault for me to contact them so I don’t know about you but when you order a suite, you should get a suite.

Did not get the room I booked through Booking.com. At first got a ground floor room no balcony. It was only after complaining did we get a room with a balcony (as booked). Did not get the King bed as booked. got two full beds.

Large clean rooms, convenient location but no internet

Wonderful staff at the hotel. Was able to accommodate our request for date change. Rooms were large and very clean.

No internet :( It's in an area where I didn't have a cell phone signal and the local wifi covered roughly only the office area, so it felt like you were going back to the 90s in the rooms. Also, note that the office closes at like 6pm (I may be slightly off on the time, but it's not late in any case). If you're going to be coming later than that, make sure to make arrangements of how you're going to get keys ahead of time.

Peace and serenity at amazing value.

Beautiful location, large room with balcony overlooking the pool and forest. Blissfully quiet and peaceful. Lovely restaurant next door. I arrived late and found my room key waiting for me at the office - it was the easiest check-in ever!

No complaints. It was a perfect stopover. Just beware of wildlife in the area, I had a near miss with a couple of deer.
