I wish they would have a little breakfast there and I'm glad they have coffee pots in the room now but I wish the coffee was a little stronger

I wish we could of had wash cloths and a couple of hand towels we only had 2 big towels each and we need any one to ask and we didn't see anyone when we checked out to give the key cards to so we stuck them through the window and I wanted a receipt

Conveniente place

The employees are very nice and helpful, location very convenient for the reason we visited the place, 3 min distance from the place we needed to be. Quiet place and comfortable

The coffee maker had 3 bags of used coffee from whoever was there before us, the cleanliness of the toilet are not up to standard, please do a walk thru whoever cleaned is not doing a good job you can clearly see “Pipi” stain in the back, no body wash in the container at the shower, floors didn’t look very clean, the door between the two rooms is missing the knob, and one of the rooms the handle is sticking out the screws. Owner is in your best interest to have someone verify at least once a week all the rooms are up to standard and customers will come and go happy. Thank you for the service. Happy new year. We are not complaining just giving constructive feedback for your business.

Don’t stay here dive

The motel was dirty, smelled and it took the staff a very long time to come and register. Then there was no shower curtain and the room smelled funky! The sheets were dingy and mine had spots on it!

Mostly everything Drive the extra 30 minutes and stay in Jackson or Angels Camp!

Clean and awesome

Just make sure room have a complete bath wash cloths, I didn’t have any when I realized it’s too late for me to ask. I only have 2 big towels, and 1 hand towel but no wash cloths also all shower stuffs like shampoo, conditioner and body wash was not pumping right hard to pump and good thing that I always carry my own stuffs.

Spacious,clean room with frig, coffee maker and mucrowave.

Spacious comfortable room

I was on the main floor and upstairs neighbor was noisy until 11. Moving furniture Not hotel's fault. Room with frig, coffee maker, and microwave. But no cups or glasses of any kind. No sugar or tea. I brought my own tea and breakfast, but without cups, I could not drink.

Good motel at a good price

Clean and convenient, exactly what you would expect from a small town motel. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower! Simple and straight forward. why does booking.com have a minimum number of characters.

Just....stay somewhere else.

Located on the main strip, close to the high school and some of the businesses in town.

Rate was high, paid over $300 for a 2 night stay. Thought it was weird when they didn't check my ID or take a credit card for my stay. There might have been cockroaches in the room when we checked in, there were definitely flies in the room upon check in. Room was barely cleaned when we checked in and people were suspiciously parked all around the hotel parking area and going in and out of random rooms throughout our stay. We asked for extra towels and toilet paper twice before getting some, and the 2nd time we asked my husband had to tell the staff that we were literally waiting to get TP to use the restroom. After the 1st night, I wanted to check out early.

Location to where I was going was well placed.

Very, vary ran down hotel. In what seemed like a sketchy location of town. Very seedy people coming and going from hotel. Hotel had many broken items inside. Most lights didn’t work, no soap in shower. Floor was dirty and previous tenant hair everywhere.

we attended a concert in Murphy's and this was the cheapest motel in Calaveras county.

The location was nice. It was right off a highway, but it's a small town and it was quiet.

There was no hot water in our facility. The sink was turned off.

I could not check in. No one was in the office. I had to stay elsewhere. I want a refund.

I was not able to check in. I arrived at 3pm on check in day. No one was in the office. It was locked up and had a sign saying they weren't there. I stayed around for a 1/2 hour and gave up.

Room Thumbs Up/Two Days of Flies-Thumbs Down

Room was very well appointed with updated furnishings. Very comfortable.

From the moment I checked in until the second night, the room had at least 5 flies. I asked the room attendant for those sticky strips or some spray. No one attended to my request until my last night. This was a very unsanitary and annoying experience.

Met our needs. Comfortable and looked newly remodeled. AC worked well and got good sleep. Had refrigerator and microwave. Coffee was good.

Did not have a place to hang clothes. No trash can or hand towels. Blackout shade would also help as outside lights brighten up the room at night.

Very clean. Lots of mounted lotions, shampoos, and soap, as well as little bottles too. Lots of fresh clean towels. Nicely remodeled older motel, very tastefully done. Normal motel construction. Thin walls and floors. Owner? or desk clerk was a little hard to understand. Very heavy Indian accent, but very pleasant.

Absolutely Nothing

Nothing worked, lamps didn't work, TV didn't work, small refrigerator didn't work. Had to go to the front desk (as there was no phone to call to the front desk) and have the person on duty, who was very helpful, said he just checked the room and it should be good. He went up with us and had to move the bed out in order to get to the plugs, to plug everything back in. Same with frig and TV. There was also a VERY STRONG SMELL OF CIGARETTES, even though it was a NON SMOKING room. We didn't want to leave the doors open (there were people out on the balconies that looked like they were from "DELIVERENCE"), found out the next day that they rent to Paroles and Convicts. We ended up sleeping on top of the bed wrapped in OUR own blankets that we brought with us. If I hadn't already paid for the room on BOOKING.com, place looked GREAT online, we would have gone elsewhere.

Hairy situation.

This Inn was close to our storage unit that we were moving out of.

Room has been renovated lately but it was dirty. Cobwebs on ceiling with dead flies. Hair on every surface but sheets. Hair in sink, toilet area and in shower. So much hair on ground that I used toilet paper to scoop it up. Dirt in every corner of room. Towels were brand new with creases and hadn’t been washed yet. Fuzz on us after shower and all over room. It was like it was a room set aside just in case room wasn’t rented. Looked like lots of people lived there. Total lack of caring about room. Would not walk around without shoes. 😳 Toilet paper hanger was also falling out of wall. Would not recommend.

Disappointed in not getting the King room we booked. Anniversary getaway and slept in double beds.

Hidden Gem on Hwy 49

Booked a king room. Was pleasantly surprised that it was a renovated room and was super nice. The owners are really working hard to upgrade this property and it shows in big and small ways. When I walked into the room their was a towel-origami bird on my bed! How cool is that? The room had new hardwood floors, great LED lighting, water pressure was perfect and the water heated up quickly. The bed was very comfortable and I slept great, did not hear any road noise and their were earplugs available in the room (as well as a sewing kit & 2 new toothbrushes).

Guest with the barking dog and loud voice at 1 am.

Great location, clean/updated room

Great, easy to access location. The hotel manager stayed up until almost midnight, waiting for me to arrive from my long drive. He upgraded me to a newly renovated room on the second floor which was very cute, clean, and spacious. He even gave me a few snacks which was so sweet. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and was very happy with my stay!
