I would prefer to try another place in the area at the same rate.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The maid didn't supply some things. No regular coffee, just decaf. Almost no soap in the shower. No kleenex. Although the TV offered many choices I found it to be so difficult to find anything. It kept offerring streaming channels for extra costs, but couldn't get to some regular channels. It was the most difficult experience i ever had with a TV system. I am sure many people would just give up. The clock was not working or the ice machine.

There wasnt an elevator for upstairs access. There was no breakfast offered. The guy doing check ins didn't speak English and seemed to look down on me.

Better than Motel 6!

A lovely big room with TV, fridge and sofa. Bigger than Motel 6 and had a coffee maker in the room. Also very handy for the museum which is well worth a visit if you are interested in local history.

We needed to ask for non-decaf coffee and for the shower gel to be refilled. So if you stay there just check levels!

"Fallen" Angels Inn

Clean, excellent AC, good location in town

I stayed at Angels Inn expecting a restful night, but instead ended up in the middle of what felt like a noisy street corner community. The woman in the room next to us was up all night making noise, and by 6 AM, she was outside our window smoking and sorting through three garbage bags of cans like it was a recycling center. She also had a barking dog and her door was wide open, revealing a room packed like a storage unit. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-off. About six other surrounding rooms seemed to house similar long-term residents with the same disruptive behaviors. As for the room itself—uncomfortable beds, flat pillows, and zero peace. For $200 a night, I expected a clean, quiet hotel experience. What I got instead was noise, mess, and a serious lack of value. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else.

So bad I couldn’t stay.

I didn’t stay. The room smelled of smoke pretty badly. There was a chair that had gross food or something stuck to it, as if it had been “cleaned “ but still on the chair. Furniture was sticky for some reason. I left to get another accommodation.

The room was clean. The staff was nice. Unfortunately, the location was not at all what we were expecting.

We didn't like the location. There were too many eye sores around. The outside looks rundown.

Superb

This facility has changed ownership, mngmnt since my last disappointing, run down visit. They are busy upgrading a centrally located, comfortable property. The staff are kind and professional. My visit was a week for a local class and I have Zero complaints. Appreciate the staff and facility and I will be staying there again on my next visit!

Charming stay in no frills room but cosy, unique and with a fridge, in a convenient location

This inn is conveniently located across The Angels Camp Museum and near the gas station. The room was painted in beautiful green, the fridge and microwave, as well as a coffee maker, were doing its job, our car could be parked right outside the window, the hostess gave us free water and a charming smile. The room was clean, the bathtab welcoming, the bedding comfortable, what else do you need for a short stay? We were staying in Angels Camp before venturing into the snow... the price (with the 'mobile booking discount') was very competitive, especially compared to another big brand name hotel in the vicinity, so I preferred to pay to a Mom-and-Pop inn rather than a big corporation and I was rewarded with a wonderful stay!

The shower curtains need to be wider, to make sure that water doesn't leak on the floor. Some warning to other guests not to make noise would help too, as right above us were some little kids who were running like horses until 11 p.m. This was quite annoying and we didn't know what to do in this situation. It would be nice for a hotel owner to be available for situations like this, via mobile or a phone, to ask other guests to be more cautious and kind towards other guests.

Great budget hotel

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and good air circulation. The hotel was close to many restaurants and the museum. Woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

Poor cleaning by staff, good location though.

The beds were okay, the tv had a lot of channels.

There was hair in the towels, multiple towels at that. the woman who answered the phone was very rude to me and my partner. It was only okay because it was so cheap. The only reason I didn’t complain while there is being of how rude the woman was already i knew they didn’t care.
