The Cosy Cottage was very quaint and perfect for two people. The location of the cottage was good to explore other cities/towns nearby. Kristie, our host, was very pleasant and accommodating to our requests.
There was only one drinking glass on arrival & had to ask in the pub. It would have been nice to have a tea towel and some kitchen roll. The toilet seat was also loose. Unfortunately the pub next door wasn't open due to a 'bikers' event, that we were not aware of prior to arrival. We have a large dog, and it would have been nice to have a gate considering the property was by a main road.

I liked the proper as it has got all the original features
The front door could do with having a proper latch on it especially if people are staying with dogs. Also it could have a gate on it to make it more enclosed.

It was very clean and quaint and close to the pub
Only thing we would like to suggest NOT a complaint is a gate across the garden entrance to stop children and pets running out on the car park and road.

It is cute and quirky and ideal for pub... if it was open!!
It was a very cute little cottage, great for a one night stopover but it was dirty. It would have been helpful to be told pub stopped serving food. Downstairs bathroom on the creakiest stairs. No hot water other than shower which you cant stand up in as your head touches ceiling. Im only 5'4". Very low doorways, my husband banged his head twice. Could be a little gem but very tired & unloved.
