Owner was very attentive and helpful

It was convenient for my stay and meetings. It was clean and quirky. Owner was attentive. Close to town. Lovely that the owner left wine and biscuits. Nice touch

It was very noisy outside the bedrooms. I think it’s because there were works being done in back of co-op. Started at 7.30 am (unlucky)

Perfect cosy stay near Malverns

Beautifully decorated, cosy comfy upside down cottage. Fully stocked with everything you might need, all the essentials; tea & coffee, cleaning products & a big fridge freezer. Loved the walk in shower. Lots of towels and super comfy beds. The owner has really thought about guests needs. They even had a cafetière & tea pot. Nice open plan layout. Perfect for our family trip of 4 adults (female) Good location, in town. Easy access to walks. Across the road from co-op. Friendly, helpful host and neighbours.

Nothing I didn’t like, so these are not negatives, just things to flag, especially for light sleepers: Can get a little noise from coop, so take ear plugs. Toilet is on different floor, which is fine once you are used to it. No onsite parking, something to think about when unloading. But free street parking round the corner. No storage/ wardrobe space. But you can slide cases under the bed and a few hanging hooks and small draws.

Nice, but not good for car owners

It's a shame really, as it is a cute cottage, clean, nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture & a good location. But the parking is horrendous and the lack of a garden would mean car driving pet owners would find it difficult. What made it worse for us was the central heating boiler was not working - no hot water. Whilst the owners did act quite quickly, a plumber arrived after an hour & fixed it in 5 minutes, the helpful neighbours did keep us entertained trying to fix it. The wine from the owners for the inconvenience was welcome. Maybe check it next time before customers arrive.

Car parking is an issue, first night 300 yds away, second night 500 yds away, found a closer one eventually after a near scrap with a local - local noise (Co-op delivery lorry opposite the bedroom window at 6.am), bedrooms downstairs, small kitchen, lost an afternoon waiting for a plumber, all things considered, it was overpriced.

A lovely break in a beautiful, cute cottage.

The cottage was beautiful, clean, had what we needed and was in a perfect location. The owner gave us clear instructions for our arrival and was very helpful when we had any questions about our stay. Would highly recommend a stay at Clerks Cottage.

The cottage was beautiful with everything that you could possibly need for a long weekend stay. The host had put everything in place from tea/coffee to cleaning sprays to bin bags and towels. Was in a prime location

Location fantastic, clean and spacious. Beds really comfortable and the little extras very considerate ie tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits etc. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Lovely mini break

Lovely decoration and great location for travel to three counties showground.

The bedrooms are downstairs and the toilet upstairs. It is a lovely old cottage though so no space for a downstairs toilet which is a shame.

Just the unit in the bathroom got wet so you couldn’t store anything in it and lack of storage/anywhere to put anything in the bathroom.

Perfect for a young family getaway !

Wonderful cottage , very clean with comfy beds and a lovely shower! The village is very friendly with plenty of great pubs and cafes . Hosts were very accommodating- even letting us check out a little later as my son was still napping! We had a great time thank you.

The cottage was lovely & very comfortable & in a great location for the town

The stairs were a little problematic for my elderly mother & the path immediately outside and from the cottage was difficult. Probably should give this some consideration if you have mobility issues and thinking of staying

Lovely cosy cottage in a great little town.

Layout - Very cosy and ideal for a weekend break

Location is perfect for Upton upon Severn but it is opposite the local COOP car park which in itself is not an issue apart from when the deliveries come early on a Saturday and Sunday morning! With the bedrooms being on the ground floor you can’t not hear the beep of a reversing lorry!

was a very pleasant cottage lovely and clean with lots of places to eat and drink just a walk away there was free of road parking just round the corner. Host was very informative with good communication would definitely stay here again. Was very clean to a high standard with every thing we needed

We had a fantastic stay and would re-book the cottage and visit the area again, thank you.

The location, the area, proximity to town, cleanliness, facilities, decor, layout, the bed, the shower, dog friendly, basics provided on arrival.

The sofa was a little uncomfortable and the kitchen needed a few more items such as baking trays and a dishcloth though they are all very minor things compared to the standard of the property overall. We couldn't work the locking system when we left. The delivery trucks to the co-op woke us up !!

Great short break in a superb location.

The location was exceptional - you could walk into town for a meal or shopping, walk out of town along the river or go a short distance to places like the Malvern Hills for walking. Superb for a mini break.

The house was really clean and comfy but was a bit short on kitchen equipment like a cafetiere and sharp knives (only huge ones). This didn't massively affect us as we were only there for a few days but the kitchen would benefit from those things + a chopping board in addition to the bread board.

Upton on Severn is a really intriguing ancient town, the cottage part of the Old Court House.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean, bright, fresh. And the bed was very comfortable!

The only problem could be parking.

Location very good - just off the main street yet exceedingly quiet. There was a coop lorry delivery early one morning but this wasn’t a major problem

It was a little chilly in the evenings and we didn’t know how to turn on the heat. Then the central heating turned itself on in the middle of the night! If we were staying there longer we may have investigated further and I sm dure this eould have been sorted out. Wd would definitely stay there again
