Well priced for this locationPriced under area average
Our black and white cottage dates back to 1632. Lounge, dining room and updated kitchen, outside courtyard for that all important al fresco dining during summer months, upstairs offers a quirky layout typical of this age of building, sloping ceilings and black and white beams throughout. Both double bedrooms although the second is quite limited on space, this second can also be adapted to a single bed, bathroom does not have shower fixture but has a fitted hand held one in the bath. There is a nice local pub close by that can be a little noisy from time to time.

Great location in Pershore
This character cottage is in a great location very close to Pershore Abbey and less than 5 minute walk into the town centre. It was quiet and cosy. Street parking near to the cottage was fairly easy. The information book in the cottage was clear and helpful. In short, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Disappointing
The property was shabby and neglected as well as smelling musty. The decor was discoordinated and old. The garden had a constant noise from pub a couple of doors down even in these Covid-19 times.

Very disappointing , Not clean , Noisy Pub.
The property was not clean, the furnishings and fittings were old. The back garden was overgrown and not safe for our small dog. We have been coming to the Cotswolds for over 10 years and this is one ( if not thee) of the most expensive lets we have taken and frankly the most disappointing. The description of the property should include the fact that it is located next to a very rowdy pub ...noise and profanity extending well into the small hours. Also parking is not as stated..it is a very busy street and difficult to get a space ..we ended up using the Abbey pay car park down the road. Pershore is a lovely town however the location and state of the property does not measure up to anywhere near this or indeed the price being charged.

Charming!! Felt like Home! Loved the quaint garden!
You can tell that this cottage has had so much love put into it. It's so warm and inviting. After arriving I took the quick walk into the village for supplies. Getting back with my beautiful flowers, wine and cheese I settled into a lovely afternoon in the garden.
What I love about this location is that I can walk to everything...the Abbey..the shops..train station for a day trip into Oxford.
And don't forget the fish and chips across the road.
What a wonderful short break!!!

A quirky charming old cottage within easy walking distance of the town centre
This cottage has everything we needed for our stay, plus the charm of a quirky old cottage. Convenient for town centre, shops, and entertainment all within walking distance. Our only problem was the street parking which was always full and we sometimes had to resort to public parking or a long walk. Ron & Lyn Power, Switzerland.

A wonderful stay in a gorgeous town
The house has just about everything you could want - a really well-stocked kitchen in terms of appliances - pretty garden in the back and such a short, lovely walk to the beautiful Abbey and town centre. Lots of cafes, supermarket, delis, a market and a pretty river to walk to.

Lovely little cottage
Very well presented Grade II listed cottage. Well equipped and comfortable.
The pub two doors away was quite noisy during fine evenings and noisy with people leaving at closing time. Pershore very nice quiet town and is a great base for seeing the surrounding area. National Trust members will save a fortune in a week. Snowshill and Croome particularly recommended. Nice selection of local shops for food shopping.

Wonderful place, wonderful location
This 16th century cottage is cute and comfy and in perfect condition. Modern kitchen,, a back yard garden, cable TV, WiFi, etc. The town of Pershore is really nice. It's big enough to have everything you need, yet small enough to be charming and traditional. The cottage is just steps away from the beautiful old Abbey and the "downtown" shopping. The take-out Fish & Chips place across the street is awesome! The best ever.
We had a wonderful time there, including exploring the beautiful Cotswold villages and classic pubs nearby and some convenient hiking trails. Finished the visit with a beautiful concert at the Abbey. We do want to come back !

October vacation in Pershore
We spend our October holidays in Pershore and stayed in Abbey View cottage. The cottage was cosy and perfect for our family of four. A very well equipped kitchen. There was a very nice pub a door away. The main street has great shops and an Asda store. Pershore is very well located to visit Wales, Birmingham, as well as the very nice town Ludlow. Also the Malvern Hills were not far away. And after a trip to the countryside we were always glad we returned 'home' to the cottage. We hope to return one day to explore the area further.

Full of character, but a bit dark
Very comfortable, warm, well appointed cottage. Central for all town amenities and for visiting the area. We found livingroom a bit dark
(that's the character though) and would have preferred a shower. Useful to have wi-fi.

Abbey View Cottage: Wonderful Base For The Cotswolds
Abbey View Cottage in Pershore was a wonderful base for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage was clean, well set up, and quiet. There are scores of fascinating historic homes and gardens to visit only a short drive from Pershore (we joined the National Trust, which allows free access to their properties, and we were not able to see all the nearby Trust properties in a ten day visit; our favorite was Snowshill). The landscape of the area itself is beautiful, and the hiking was excellent. In Pershore itself, it was fun to return at the end of the day and either cook in the simple but well appointed cottage kitchen (there are lots of great food specialty shops in the town) or visit the local pubs and restaurants (many backing up to the scenic river Avon; we ate often at The Angel). On top of it all, the Pershore Abbey was fascinating, and only a block away. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A lovely, quaint cottage in the perfect location.
I stayed at 56 Newlands for 8 weeks while my house was being renovated, both my children and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic being both walking distance to town and the beautiful park. In addition there are river walks nearby too. The cottage is comfortable and cosy with 16th century charm. The only thing missing is a good shower. Modern amenities such as wifi and freeview TV means you can happily combine rustic charm with twenty first century convenience. A lovely place to stay, perfect for walkers with dogs or as a base to the Cotswolds.

Brilliant stay
The cottage is delightful, and fully stocked with everything you could wish for. Comfortable sofas, beds, plenty of storage and the kitchen has a great range of china, pots and pans, glasses etc.
Pershore itself is a beautiful town full of Georgian buildings and an 11th century abbey. It is also within half an hour of Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham and Worcester, and Malvern, plus all the charming small Cotswold villages. The cottage is about three minutes walk to the High Street, where there is a great selection of independent retailers. There is also an Arts Centre, for films, theatre etc and a good variety of pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance. My favourite pub is the Pickled Plum at the top of the road!

Love Abbey VCiew Cottage!
(We wrote these separately to give you both our perspectives.)
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying for 6 weeks (15 April 2014 – 28 May 2014) at Abbey View Cottage in Pershore, UK. In fact we enjoyed it so much that we are already in the process of booking another lengthy stay for Spring 2015.
The cottage is perfectly located so that everything on The High Street and general vicinity is in easy walking distance. Pershore itself is filled with lovely places to eat, unique shops, delightful pubs (our favorite is The Star Inn), and friendly people. The entire area was a mass of colors from the beautiful springtime flowers and gentle flow of the River Avon. Public transportation is plentiful and easy to use, but we also rented a car to travel at leisure to the many surrounding towns and sights.
The cottage was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The lounge has overstuffed furniture and is perfect for relaxing, watching TV, chatting, reading, and just plain enjoying. TV reception is excellent and there is Wifi throughout the cottage. The dining room is separated from the main lounge by a step up and low partial wall, giving it a slightly more formal feel.
The kitchen is a dream! It’s pretty, bright, well lit, AND is outfitted with every type of cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances, including a washer and dryer, as well as a microwave. The windows over the sink face out to the back garden where we had the pleasure of watching the bluebells, lilacs, and roses blossom. There’s also a table with 4 chairs and a barbeque out back which makes for some peaceful sitting and impromptu luncheons or picnics or that nice glass of wine.
Upstairs is a bit quirky, but fitting and comfortable. The large bedroom has a very low slanted ceiling by the window, but is quite spacious and beautifully decorated in soft muted tans, creams, and blues. Closet space, hangers, towels and linens… are all plentiful, both in here and in the smaller 2nd bedroom.
While the smaller bedroom is equipped to sleep two people, it would be a bit of a squeeze, but since there were only the two of us, we used one of the single beds to stack luggage and purchases, while the other bed became my midday nap haven. (There’s also a beautiful view of the lilac tree from the 2nd bedroom window.)
The bathroom was certainly adequate for its purpose, but it must be noted that there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom (we kept the hair dryer on the dresser (with its large mirr
