Disgusting place!!!

Disgusting place! I arrived late at night and the address was wrong, it was in the middle of nowhere, it was a dark road, if you go by public transport its hard to find!! We arrived and there was no one to receive us, the room was dirty with hair on the pillow, there was no toilet paper, 1 towel for 2 people. It doens look at all like the pictures on the site. Avoid this place.

Picked this b+b because it suited our needs & location. Can't comment further as we did not stay due to issue at the property.

On arrival there was no toilet paper, no towels, no basic T or coffee facilities. Tried to contact property but got no response from either txt or direct calling. Left 2 voice msgs but as yet have had no reply.

No towels or toilet paper on arrival. No front desk which we knew about so sent several texts. Got no response whatsoever to say towels would be dropped off in morning so we didn’t know if we’d get them. Towels did arrive but no courtesy / apology text or anything. That’s just poor.

The place is a building site. I got there 9:30 pm. There was no-one there. The "host" doesn't answer the phone. Neither does booking.com, by the way. By 10:00 pm someone who lives on the site said the cleaner had let them down and showed me a room. It had not been cleaned. I had to sleep in someone else's dirty bedding. The floor hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The toilet and sink had pubes on them. This is the worst place I have stayed at in my life! If you don't believe me, check the Trustpilot reviews and save yourself a nightmare.

Excellent value for money and a good nights rest!

Warm and comfortable with all that you need for a good nights rest.

1. It was difficult to find using my car’s satnav. Would it be possible to include a “What 3 words” location marker as well? 2. I had stated that I had limited mobility as I was on a crutch. Having to get down to unplug the tree with lights in the room was extremely difficult. 3. Would it be possible to leave a notice in the room explaining how to use the TV properly? I did figure it out eventually; it would shorten the process.

Fantastic value for money, cosy, clean and spacious!

Communication with the host was excellent and I was so impressed with the size, cosiness and cleanliness of the room. There were lovely little touches such as milk in the mini-fridge and bread, jam and cereals as well. The location was great and it was fantastic value for money, I had my rescue dog with me and there was no additional charge for her, which is rare nowadays. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be returning in the future :)

The property he was very very dirty you don’t have nothing in the bathroom no towels no toilet roll no shower chair he was very bad very ugly in a bath in the floor he was a lot like a spider he was very ugly. I suggest no one going over there because I don’t want the bad smelling very bad all the staff from the bed he was very bad, very dirty and very smiling

Really comfy bed but really hard to find property.

Really nice cute bedroom. Bathroom definitely needs updating. Comfy bed so I had a good night sleep. Owner was lovely.

Really bad location shown on the map. It was dark when I arrived and we struggled a lot to find the place. Trying to contact the owner, rang 3 times nobody answered - by that point I was sure I will spend the night at the airport... Not even one little lamp outside the property. The same in the morning - had to leave 6am and needed my phone flashlight to not to trip over anything. On the top of it place has different name on booking, different on Uber app and different when You arrive there.

Very very bad.

Close to airport

No communication whatsoever, called them 10 times no answer to calls or messages. It’s hard to find the place, address isn’t accurate, taxi has dropped me at the nearest village by someone’s gate and I had to walk back to this place on the road in the dark with a toddler. There’s no pavement, no lighting on the road, cars passes at minimum 70mph. Place is dirty, had to push the bed slightly off the wall to reach for socket , and oh god when I say it’s dirty I really mean it. Towel provided was dirty itself. Only good thing about the place that it is cheap, has bed and close to the airport, and probably better than sleeping under the stars when it’s this cold outside.

Lovely Little Stop

Room was very nice and cute. A little out of the way location but that was ok after all the road traffic. Easy access to the room. Bed was comfy. Shower was great. Great place for the price!!

Stay elsewhere

Good location for Liverpool airport, plenty of parking, hair dryer, pint of milk in mini fridge and quiet.

This place could be great it just needs a really good clean, bleaching from top to bottom and attention to detail with small things. The bedroom was dusty, there was hair in the bed, cups were filthy, everything was covered in dust. Bathroom smelt of sick, walls splattered with old soap scum and stuff that had splashed out of toilet. I had no choice but to stay. Stay elsewhere.

The other guests as one was on and off his phone till after midnight and then again from 6am, the walls are so thin you hear everything and all you could hear was doors banging till late not very respectful in my opinion

Appropriately priced, close to LPL, but bring your own towel

Super close to the airport.

Honestly, you get what you pay for if you just want a brief overnight before LPL airport. The roof lighting didn’t work, towels weren’t provided and when we tried to contact to request, we had no reply. Just went to a nearby Morrison’s and bought some cheap ones

A waste of money - DO NOT STAY HERE!

Good places to eat nearby.

No towels- no toilet paper - the shower was faulty, flooded the bathroom floor. No tea, coffee, milk available. No breakfast. Host was indifferent to my requests for assistance. Courtyard view was of building rubbish!! This place is fraudulent- needs to be held accountable for taking funds and advertising facilities that they don’t supply!!!!! Check out Trip Advertiser comments - they are as bad!!!!

The location was ideal for our stay

The room was dirty on arrival the floor hadn’t been cleaned, there was food stuck to the inside of the microwave, the toaster was dirty, and the drinking glasses were stained, and despite being listed in the facilities there were no towels, toiletries, tea/coffee/milk, and nothing for Breakfast so we had to pay out more money to get the missing items and for Breakfast the next day. The company is unavailable to contact as the number that messaged about the check in details just goes straight to voicemail and the number on the board outside the building is different

The outside area needs a lot of attention, weeds, debris, hay and building materials create a very unfavourable impression on arrival. The towels were thin and worn, no bathmat, no hand towels, the pillows are old, flat and stained. Property could be good but needs lots of work.

Good for a nights sleep.

Cheap (last minute deal), clean, dog friendly. Easy to find. Nice to have a room with really hot water, most places struggle with water pressure and temp. Good sized room.

Not nice to have a view of lots of dog poo on Astro turf outside the window. Very little in the way of coffee and tea supplies although the owner did bring me some milk so I managed to have 1 coffee. Not really B&B, just bed.

Shocking

Lenox changed my dates as short notice without consulting me. Their changed dates didn't work for me so I emailed to cancel, and used the facility in Booking.com to request a refund. They didn't respond to the Booking.com notification. So I emailed them again to request a refund. Still no reply. I had to pay for other accommodation and haven't had a refund from Lenox. Zero communication. Shocking.. i don't like to leave bad reviews but feel it's necessary.

Location. Quiet, rural. Lots of parking. Good wifi. Owners responded quickly to text message.

Booking process was confusing. Booking showed as accepted on booking.com however I kept getting emails from booking.com that the property had not yet accepted the booking. As the payment was showing as pending on my bank app, I phone called property but no answer so I texted. They immediately came back by text to confirm the booking and how to access. I turned up, (no-one was around, there's no 'reception' as such) but was not expecting this) and my room had obviously not been cleaned since the previous guests. The bin was full of rubbish. Bed had been made, but sheets very grubby. Two pillows had no pillow covers. I slept over the duvet cover not wishing to get into this bed. Luckily it was a warm night. Towels appeared to be clean.. No breakfast. No milk. No toilet paper. For the price, I was not expecting much but clean sheets and providing toilet paper are basic in my eyes. The hallway floor outside was also dirty. It's such a shame - the room itself, in terms of size, furniture, space, and the actual bed, hanging space, and location - all absolutely fine. With a bit of effort this place could easily be so much better.

Breakfast was adequate, certainly all that could be done, making the most of a small space. Wonderfully comfortable bed! We loved being back in Hale Village.

Room was rather dark, bed could. possibly be turned so the headboard didn’t block the light from the window.

Good value for money. Effort was made with the decor. Lighting was nice.

It was a bit cold, the staff kindly supplied a blanket on request. I turned radiator on and was told it would come on but it didn’t. There was tea bags, cereal and fridge but no milk supplied and shop was not in sight, we were on foot. No explanation of how the breakfast part worked we had to go for v early flight. Just felt a disconnect with the owners. But it was fine for few hours sleep.
