Everglades Hotel Warrington West

The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The bed was a little too soft but overall the room was very comfortable.

The wifi was very patchy and frequently dropped out.

Breakfast was good, served fresh and hot. Didn't have to wait long for hot food to be served, staff were cortisol & helpful

Bedroom was a bit chilly at first. Not very happy with the lighting situation,,not able to isolate the lights when visiting the bathroom in the night, no slipmat In the bath. Not enough rooms have a walk In shower

Clean, very friendly accommodating staff, ease of checking in and out. Cooked breakfast rather than buffet which is one of the reasons we use this hotel as I am a celiac and buffets are not safe for me

The property is dated Room although was spotlessly clean. didn’t smell overly fresh… old dampish smell Food was poor at the event so chose not to bother with the breakfast even though I’d paid for it

Great location for what we needed.

Very very dated and in the room you could hear everything in the corridors and next door. The bathroom also needed some work mould on the seals chipped tiles and found a woodlouse walking about.

A warm welcome from the staff

There was a party going on which still seemed to be in full flow at c.0045 and there for could hear the music from room and people returning to their rooms. I guess to be expected at the time of year. The mattress was not as good as our previous stay.

Very Freindly Staff who went above and Beyond to make our visit and Stay Great. We are a Ladies Crown Green Bowling Club, there where 28 of us,we booked a Christmas Lunch + plus afternoon Disco, there where 7 rooms booked for some of us to stay overnight. The food was lovely, if we needed anything to accompany it , we only had to ask(mustard/Cranberry, extra gravy) The drinks were reasonably priced ,again staff were great didn't wait long to be served. When it was time to move out of function room we were shown a bar we could drink and chat in. Our Bedrooms were spotlessly clean and we all had a great nights sleep. 0lenty of Teas, Coffees and Biscuits. The Breakfast choice was a hard one to pick as there were so many nice dishes to choose from. We opted for the full English Breakfast and it was cooked and served within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering. It was Delicious. We will definatley be booking to come back next year, for both meal and stayover. The staff never stopped, but there was not one unhappy face, they were a happy team and they do deserve a pat on the back, from reception, bar, waiting on and cheffing . Couldn't fault them. They did make us so welcome.

No Bottled water in Rooms. The fact that we would be charged £10 per hour for earlier check in. We had to leave our nightime goodies and change of clothes, nightware in cars.

Really dated, beds were uncomfortable, couldn’t have one light on the room it was all or none even the lamp was hard wired with the ceiling lights so they all turn on or off together

The restaurant is overpriced and no atmosphere.The food at best is pub standard !

The location was convenient, parking was free and the staff were lovely.

It's very tired, the way that is has been repainted isn't great, the bathroom was in need of decoration, the mattress was awful. I don't think it had been changed since the 90s. I wanted a non smoking room but you could smell old smoke in it.

The breakfast was good, bed wash comfortable.

The whole place looks a bit tired, maybe a total upgrade and lick of paint would not go amiss. Maybe the installation of dedicated EV charging points in the car park. Could do with more light in the room, even a table lamp would be a help, the only available unused sockets were behind the chest of drawers, which was heavy to move because it was connected to the table!! Room 127 was cold when we arrived, there was only one hand towel in the bathroom.

Didn't have breakfast, little expensive. Room spacious, enjoyed the separate seating, and table, tv. Bathroom, tired, grubby around the edges. The hotel in general a little tired.

I must say I was quite disappointed. As you enter the first thing that was noticeable was the water damage to the carpet next to the bathroom. Whilst standing in the shower/bath near to the plug hole the bath dips and feels like it's about to give way. I assume this is the reason for the water damage as after using the shower the room fills with a damp musty smell. The bathroom was also quite dirty and mouldy in places. Throughout the room we're stains,marks and poorly repaired damage. The bed was also very uncomfortable. The complementary biscuits were crushed and opened also.

Plenty of room for parking also I could park outside my room to keep an eye on my vehicle

Location was good for us, there was no noise at night, the breakfast was good & it was dog friendly which suited us.

The carpet in the room was threadbare at the entrance to the bathroom, the sealant & grout in the bathroom need replacing, the mattress has seen better days. I’ve stayed in better places for less money. I hope the hotel doesn’t allocate poorer maintained rooms to guests with dogs as we pay more money than others to stay.

We arrived shortly after midnight and the Night Porter was very helpful, polite and efficient in getting our check in at the reception done as quickly as possible. And in the morning, when my wife noticed there was no hairdryer in our room, the Reception asked a cleaner to send a hairdryer to our room, and the cleaner was in our room with a hairdryer within a minute.

The hotel is a little dated in places, but for the price it offers excellent value for money.

Lovely looking building. Good location.

Uncomfortable bed. Plugs were screwed over. Only two plugs (if we unplugged the kettle). All the lights, bedside lights and lamp either had to be on or off. TV was tiny and old on a big wall. Bed was uncomfortable.

The bathroom had hair on tiles, pubic hairs on the bath edge, hairs on the floor and in the sink. Not acceptable! One I can forgive but more than one place means no cleaning was done in there before our visit. Positive bed was comfy and quiet. Bar area and restaurant good.

Mandy at the reception was so friendly and the waitress at breakfast was so lovely. The food was nice we had a few breakfasts and dinners there over our stays.

The first time we stayed we had a big room and a super comfy bed but the next time we stayed we paid more but the room was smaller and the bed was a bit rough you could feel the springs through the mattress. The shower tap was also a bit tricky to use
