Our stay at Abbeyfield was fantastic. We were greeted by Kira when we arrived late and she showed us her home, suggested a local restaurant, and let us settle into our room. In the morning, she cooked a delicious breakfast and provided a gf meal for one of us with Celiac disease. We could not have asked for a better stay or host!
There is nothing negative to say about this stay. Everything was better than expected and Kira was fantastic. Her daughter was adorable and very sweet interacting with us. This is a must stay.

Great location. Very charming property. Room was very comfortable and very limited noise throughout the property. Host was very friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Kira! What a fabulous host she is - friendly, funny, warm and welcoming, she had lots of information and was so helpful. We loved hearing about how she and her husband renovated this 200 yr old house and they’ve done a terrific job. The house is spotless and our large room was so comfortable. Our breakfast was made to order and just outstanding! My husband recommends the full Scottish and I enjoyed had the Scottish porridge with whisky & honey. We are thrilled to have found this lovely B & B. We had dinner at Maltings, a cozy pub a short stroll into town. Highly recommend!
